Basically, when visit the beach as often as you can while on vacation, and Carmen will approach you while Ann is visiting with some boys in the water.

Yeah, i agree with you… it's simply cheating, and in these type of games no cheating is allowed (in my opinion of course), but the partners must agree to any sex action (watching, joining, or also recording) and must be honest with each other, in this way the couple will remain together and love each other… sex is one thing, love is another!

"Simply cheating"? What's wrong with cheating and why the focus on the male perspective?
The game is called Adventurous Couple; you at times make choices for the woman.
And in fact, especially prerevamp, some would argue that the woman was the main protagonist and the male simply a plot device.
Personally, I LOVE peeking at what they do even if they don't tell, show or spy on each other. Being able to steer each one down their own path and see how they interact has been a thing that made this title stand out.
Ideally, in a world where time is free and plentiful, the dev could cater to all the different fetishes. Swinging, voyeurism, cucking and cheating in secret.

This isn't and hasn't ever been an exclusively male-perspective game, despite the MC being a man. It's about the consequences of the husband's choice to push (and push, and push) his wife into having sex with other people. There are different ways that can go depending on the player's choices, but from the very beginning Anne takes his idea and runs in her own direction with it. The second time she exposes herself to strangers — in fact only the second "event" in the game — she lets someone shove his hand up her skirt, which wasn't at all what the MC suggested and which he doesn't hear about until later. The bones of the story are right there, and Anne doing her own thing for her own reasons (that may or may not be what the MC wants or expects, and later even know about) only escalates as the game goes on. That's why we have to see Anne's perspective, even when the MC isn't present.
I can conceive a version of the game in which the player can choose to not see/know what Anne's doing unless she chooses to tell the MC (or film it, etc.), and I know there are people that prefer cheating/cuckold/NTR games to work that way, but unless the MC's also sleeping around that game's going to be really thin on sexual content, and in any case that's never been the "tone" of TAC.
In a perfect world this would be a dual-perspective game (and functionally it is, because the player does make choices for Anne), but those are really hard to do well. I would've been perfectly fine with Anne as the MC as well, especially because she's a vastly more interesting character than the MC, but I know some folks just won't play female protagonist games.

Also... is it my imagination but after replaying and looking through some image files does Anne dress sexier and also have less sex with the MC as the game goes on? I'm probably remembering incorrectly. Talking about the original 1-10 chapters, not the rewritten ones

You're not mistaken, she developed into a slut the more it went on and still hasn't informed him of about 2/3s of the sexual activities she's gotten up to with different men. Wonder how that'll go over if she keeps it up and he finds out. Not well i'd imagine.

In the original version sex with the MC definitely tailed off in the later chapters. The reason's obvious. Especially if the MC's being a cad himself. One of my hopes for the revamp is that it makes this relevant; if the MC cheats or Anne's cheating too much outside what she and her husband have agreed to, their sex life disintigrates. If it's still a mutually trusting relationship, they keep having sex.
In retrospect, this probably can't be a female protag game because it then becomes yet another Bambi in Lechertown story, except that it turns out Bambi was her porn name. Anne's sexual hunger and history are, it eventually becomes clear, far beyond what the MC was thinking when he decided to spice up their sex life. In terms of narrative impact, that's more powerful if "you're" the husband. The stuff with Martin, the beach encounter with the ex, the trainer whose name I can never remember (Dre?) who she's obviously infatuated with, the anal experimentation with Drake, the MC's coworker's boyfriend who's dominating her on the side, Ryan...the impact of all of this is lessened if we're seeing it through her eyes without knowing what (if anything) it's doing to the MC.
There's a great female-protag version of this game somewhere out there, but it would have to have a fairly different story.

Having said that, I'm not the MC, so I want to see what she's up to, even if the MC doesn't.

i lost interest in this game a long time ago, not sure the revamp will help.
the reason is that i thought the game was about a couple, experimenting "together", with slow corruption, where the Mc need to persuade her to try different things since she is scared to do wrong. i thought about they do more dirty talk/fantasies while fucking, roleplay, public fucking (together), camshows, pictures, homevideo, exhibitionism, flirting, dancing with strangers, and so on, until one day they finally try something sexual with another male or couple.

I agree. I am not playing as, or putting myself in the role of the MC. Rather, as an observer to the story. I like seeing that Anne is branching out, and banging behind the MC's back, and doesn't tell him everything.You're probably right, regarding the issues with it being a female protag game.

Anne is a little bit more extreme than the MC I think, since she engages in threesomes (without her husband) and cuckold's him with his father, but I empathise with your point.
