Did you also take a look into "C:\Users\<YouirUsername>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\TACTheOriginalStory-167130991\" for your saves?

Bangin'! I think that TACOS is now really starting to take off. Problem is, that the new game versions get leaked so that people hurt the income of the dev. It's not sure that the Dev can continue making this game at the actual pace because he is self-employed and works at the game full-time. That might not be feasible in the future and he might have to pick up a second job. That would be a pity because the game is one of the few that gets quick and regular releases in a stunning quality with great storytelling.
In any case, please support the dev if you like that game to keep him working on the game!

I support mircrom on the silver tier, $10 a month is not a burden, and I support a artist who I initially found his work for free. And that was years ago.

I was just asking how the new update was and to get an idea of what content was or was not in the new update, I continue to support mircrom but have not touched this game since 5a

I don't either but I do know you've been rock solid on getting updates out every month which is a rarity. But I do have a question about the last update. I'm playing the android version and I'm not able to load the new update. I saved season 1 at the black screen but when I try and play the new update I get a message that I have to play season 1 first. Is there any timeframe for getting that fixed? Thanks and keep up the great work

I really felt the same as you. Compare to later chapters the first 3 where more 'honest' and couple related. Later it becomes more of a fuckfest for Anne like in other female lead games turning MC into a slut.

By no means I want to say that TAC is a bad game - I still enjoy it very much -, but I kinda miss the couple dynamic as seen in Chapter 1 to 3.

Specially for hotwifing, sharing, swinging it is important to be fully honest with your partner otherwise your marriage or relationship will end in the same way as it did for Rebecca Dreams from Rebeccasoffice.

TAC kinda reminds a lot of Rebecca and her husband and what they went through. In the end they got divorced and went separate ways.

Here is an old interview with Rebacca's ex-husband after they separated. He mentions a few things Rebecca did and reading what she did was kinda hot - honestly. But on the other hand it is sad too, that she left her husband out of the action.

I've been learning Daz3d/Blender/RenPy/Gimp for about 12 hours a day for months now.
I hope to eventually make my own comics/games one day.
I love learning new skills, it's great for the brain.
The amount of knowledge required can feel daunting at times.
Also, tech never stays still, and software is always adapting to this.
The level of expertise in the majority of these games is insane.

It's truly a labour of love for most creators, when you consider the time and financial layout, before ever recouping any money thru support.

The intensity of work is constantly imposed by thirsty fans, who all seem to want to dictate the game.

You've clearly created characters/scenarios which resonate with a growing fanbase.
Which seems to be a double edged sword in this genre.

I've recognised a trend of creators abandoning games, with threads full of angry fans.
I wonder how many creators just think "fuck it" and walk away due to stress and being made to feel like frauds/scammers when life gets in the way of "deadlines".

No other creator gets this imposed on them.

I give my hard earned money to those people I deem worthy of it. I can't build games like Mircom can and I love that I can suggest content that might become part of the story. I absolutely love that!

But you, being disrespectful to the effort and accomplishments of others is a trait that only does harm and never gets you anywhere. But at least, you are entertaining- you seem to like the game, since you are so busy posting in this thread. Nice one, buddy. ;-)

In anticipation of the TACOS Season 2 appearing here, I've been getting my gallery mod ready to use for it and couldn't resist working on a new feature.

While I prefer the page view like it currently has, many folks on this site prefer a scrolling view but I find it gets hard to navigate with a large list, especially with just a mouse. So I am giving players the option to switch between the view types, and as a bonus added keyboard hotkeys to help with the scrolling.

This is still a WIP but here's a preview. Would you like the gallery to remember which view you had between launches of the game?
