Even with the less important guys that you're not directly asked about you can still make the event play out differently (ex: wife fucked in bar bathroom vs her getting cuckqueaned if you previously had coffee with mia from the gym on days 44-46) or outright avoid it. The only forced NTS acts that I recall consist of her teasing/making an exhibition (everyone), getting groped (a lot of guys), fingered (Kenny, 3 jacuzzi guys, doctor) and handjob/blowjob (kenny).

The way it jumps from you being furious at the betrayal you just uncovered and threatening to kill the both of them to then happily eating a cheeseburger at the diner a minute later and then working at the office like everything's fine is just bizarre (not that there weren't outright bugged out sequence breaks before). The ridiculously short epilogue and conversations/reactions between them. I know characterization/character development was never the game's forte but you'd still expect more than a dozen lines between husband and wife when they agree to meet and talk and more than a handful of renders out of it. Wife didn't even shed a single tear or show any emotion while making her bullshit apology - even choosing to wear an exhibitionist seethrough top in public while pretending she would no longer act the slut when apologizing for her betrayal and asking for a second chance. The game previously had more nuanced conversations from waiters taking your dinner order.
Even the way the betrayal was revealed to MC completely lacked the eroticism you'd expect out of a NTR (netorare) reveal scene, so it wasn't fappable - except maybe again for NTS (netorase) MCs/players who even got an explicit "fap to it" option for that. Any of the boringly vanilla marital sex scenes between husband and wife in bed seemed to have more care put into them than this reveal which should've instead been the climax, the moneyshot of the NTR path (and perhaps the game). Even if the NTR reveal had been done the most cliche/obvious way where he'd see from the start who it was who entered the apartment and was being taken to their bedroom while MC immediately got in the car to rush home as the camera feed kept playing on his phone or car monitor showing things progressing until he arrived and caught them red handed past the point of no return it would've been preferable. NTR MCs aren't just going to sit there and watch it if they don't have to. NTR reveals can't be presented the same way you present NTS scenes. Husband's faithfulness also never even got brought up over this falling out - despite how prominently that stat/counter featured since the start of the game.
I think this path/game deserved better.

There's no real narrative reason why the NTR MC should try to patch things up with the way both simple options were presented to him, no reason to carry on to Season 3. But then some of the reviews even state that the NTR is actually unavoidable even if you do full sharing/have high relationship points?
Could there instead be a reason for the NTR player to keep playing by choosing the other option? Is there a chance of additional drama if you choose to give it a shot? Is there a chance to at least get even/hurt her back if you keep at it? And also further hurt the guy who cucked you? I see no reason to bother with Season 3 otherwise if it's just gonna be a retread.
I would've been happy if the NTR reveal had been fappable and even moreso if the way the game ended also was a happier ending for the faithful MC moving on with his life/getting himself a better loyal wife while Anne sank into a spiral of whoredom/bad ending for her, rather than the way it ended with both of them being equally well off, not to mention how lightly the other guy got off with just one punch. You don't know how anything is evolving, unless the two characters talk about it where everyone can read it then your just speculation. And the last comment you made about "our" marriage is stronger now , where do you draw that from. I don't see any reason to think that it's stronger now then is was at the beginning. Now they just have a higher body count, but the one doesn't doesn't mean they're stronger. The hookups Anne has versus the "feelings-involved" seem to be passed over and everything is treated as a hookup. Don't get me wrong, I still like it all but, there doesn't seem to be any throughline for most of the characters Anne gets together with. Did I miss something?
I would say MC develops more of a relationship, or at least repeat interactions for escalation to more events, compared to Anne's.
