Unfortunately, this doesn’t really mean anything. The Doc has been listed as “last seen yesterday” or “last seen today” for quite a long time now. Similarly, Paperwork - the developer behind the unfortunately abandoned Project S.A.G.E. - also constantly appears as having been active recently, yet hasn’t made a single post in over five years. So, whatever this measures, it doesn't seem to be the dev's activity.

I just take it to mean they're lurking.

i dont know if it was his last post but he did say that he hit a roadblock in production because of vr being newish he kept running into problems and the problems taking along time to figure out a solution. because of all of this he said he was still working on it but was not giving a release date and believed it would be along while before he release anything more. i think he also paused any patreon as well because of that but i cant remember.

No, he didn‘t pause patreon. This looks different. His patreon is under review. This is probably a sign, that he hasn‘t logged in on patreon for a long time. One can see the same thing for paperwork’s patreon. I saw it also for a patreon of a dev, who has probably died. (Sylvie Dreams)

i definitely hope the best and that the doc is still somewhere out there watching all this and working on his game. But to be honest, I hardly believe it. The chance is much higher, that he‘s currently not able to do anything at this game and to be here anymore for whatever reason.

A great game, but why was it canceled? Nice graphics, and I had fun. Unfortunately, there are a lot of games like this that are canceled at once.

The Patreon account went on "under review" a bit over 3 months after the last post of the Doc, and he did before hint on health problems of his own and his wife. Before he posted something at least once a month. One can only guess, that he can't work at the game and post anymore for whatever reason.

I could never understand that.

If a developer does not want to continue the game (or unsure about the future of the project) - just say it.

Why stop talking to your fans?!

My theory is most of them probably found a girlfriend and she made them get a real job. And then they kinda feel shy and self conscious about it so they don't say anything
