EDIT: I found your issue. You are appearently using an old mod. If you want to play the WT with IC then use the mod i posted.
Delete the old mod you have and place the new one. That should solve your problem.

Hey, i installed the game fresh and it works and then i took your version from the post above and the same thing happening.

Are you sure your are using the version i posted? Cuz that file dont exist in the mod i posted.
Since the file exist only in the old version of the IC/WT-mod made by Parmenides.
The file in question which the Traceback pointing to is JokerTextbox.rpy which only appears in the older version of the Mod.

EDIT: I attached the Mod i posted just in case.
No need to reinstall the game from ground up.Just delete the older version of jokermod folder.

and just for good measure install instructions

Instructions:

- Unrar the file
- Copy the "game" folder and paste it in The Assistant main folder (not in the "game" subfolder). Replace files when prompted

And the choices are wonky, could be an issue with the saves i got. Cuz all the choices from the latest update (the prior choices seem to work just as fine) are in spanish or is just a blank "choice".

Dont know if i forgot to edit something regarding this or something else.

Like i said. Its my first time doing this.

PS: Just for clarifaction, i dont intent to take over the i-patch mod. I did it cuz i am impatient. Like some other guys here. :sneaky:

I would not trust any "compressed" post (unless they have the badge) any mod, gallery unlocker, save files unless it's from a trusted source, a lot of them are being infected by viruses. You've been warned.

Ah okay. Thanks for posting as well. My guess is: It is calling the missing file from somewhere. Since i merged the Older scripts from the IC/WT-mod with the latest JokerLeader WT-Mod. I check later if i can figure that out.

Like i said: My very first time doing somthing like this.

I merged those two things together and prayed it holds together until Parminedes comes back.

okay, i want to download the game but i see 2 diff sets of download ver. so if i to play this from the start am i to download season 1 solo download or the over all download works n is merged with all the season built in it??

That's because both the Patreon and the Steam versions are now here to download, and they are different. I'm not sure if the Steam version will continue to be uploaded here as it has caused a lot of confusion. To download the Patreon version, use the links you can see under "DOWNLOAD", this is the full game, so you don't need additional links/downloads for it (unless you add mods, incest patch, etc.). To download the Steam version, use the links that are in the spoiler.

To the best of my knowledge, all the screenshots are from the Patreon version except the ones I've highlighted. If you want the version with the models in the highlighted version, that's the Steam version, and you'll need the links in the spoiler for the separate episodes. Other models are used in both versions, so there is crossover, but if you see the two girls in school uniforms in the top row, those are the same two girls as in the first highlighted image on the middle row (white top and red top), so you have a comparison.
