Most people aren't as engaged in the development of these games as some of the users here, so things like that may still come out as a surprise to some of us.
And it's not the fact that we didn't know that surprises us, it's the fact that he decided to rework the game yet again.

Yeah. Couldn't possibly be that this is Groundhog Day and happening again. I just came back after at least a year to see if I should download this and give it another try, to see Reboot. Again. So I'll just leave, and all but ignore it for at least another year. Maybe two. And at this point it wouldn't surprise me to see it's been remade yet again.

It's a bit weird to have a rework when you're already 4 years in development. The updates for this game aren't that big and they aren't that frequent either so I can't really blame people if they start questioning if this will ever be finished.

It would be fun if the developer did a redesign every year. I imagine that some of the donors are happy. He probably thinks it's not "abundance" that it's better than not hearing from the Dev. Finally I said that I had not said anything.

Bit rough on dev even if I get everyone's frustration and share it up to a point, but I had to laugh so kudos for that.

I know some people kind of overreact like he'd probably just re-work it all the way from the prologue to the present data, like he's pulling an ICSTOR without actually pulling an ICSTOR since he's at least working on something for a "smoother experience", but other than the Halloween update, this has to be some of the slowest development I've seen from a game in awhile. Makes me excited how BIG the next update is going to be, like 3 or 4 updates worth of content.

Actually it is. I just finished it and must admit, this is a really nice rework. Unfortunately, that's all there is so it looks like this one will be going on the back burner for another year and hopefully there will be more to see than just rework. Too bad, I really liked this one and was hoping for some continuity.
