Annnnd my saves are completely gone. Well, at least I don't have to complain about the lack of new content, considering I have to replay from episode 6. Silver lining.
If you are playing on windos, there probably is a backup of you old saves somewhere in your appdata folder. Be aware, that the game folder name in the appdata folder, has changed between the previous version and this version.

Yeah. "Choices" don't mean sweet fuck all. Walk into shower, don't lick the used dildo. Still tells me I was licking the bint's juices. And, of course, we can't tell the worthless ex to go fuck herself with a pitchfork, gotta let her blow us. This is a kinetic novel pretending it isn't. You have all the agency of a quadriplegic with no response to outside stimuli. All you can do is shit yourself and piss your pants.

I haven't played since the 7.1 update. Choices used to matter somewhat at least. The remnants are still there. Old variables for cutting out Carla content, for example. Only back up to Ch.5 this playthrough, so can't say for sure about further along, but if you set the "nocarla" variable to true, it still eliminates her entirely from the game for quite a while, but I'm guessing that later chapters probably don't have any checks for that variable, and thus she'll just appear out of the blue.
Wait that's it! Old saves don't work and we all spent hours of our life going through old content. Fuck this dev and fuck this game. I'm out.

no ep 10 is only a few renders, 2 minutes max, and it says chap 1 still in the work after said 10 renders...lol this is a jokeWell... the "old" version is episodes 1-9 of Season 2, and I had only played up to episode 6.
This new release is the same, plus episode 10.
And I can only load some saves from ep 6, many (most?) of ep 6 saves throw immediate errors.
At some point I suspect everyone will have to start season 2 over again. May as well rip off the bandaid and tell people to do it now rather than later. My 2 cents worth, anyway.

A bit, yeah. It has lots of fun scenes, but a mid story and mid plot. Worth the play, if you have never tried it.

You're not the first to say it was really short, lol.
Still and all, the code base definitely did change (since the rpy files are in a different location) and, without digging into it way deeper than I want to, I don't know just how much it changed, so I'm just going to start season 2 over again.
I'd recommend anyone do that just to be current, given it's a new dev working on it now. (I think.)
