A bit of both. The story complete rewrite but a few of images are new or changed do to the story being rewritten.

Both. There are some big changes in some of the renders and there are some entire scene changes as well. It's not a completely different game or anything, but pacing, characterization, etc., have all been refined.

Read one of the developers (writer) own words. In a nutshell, I think the changes are necessary to reform the game from being porny adult VN into (coherent) story based adult VN. So, it is neither a completely different story nor same story with upgraded renders.

That may end up being true once Ep 3 and 4 are reworked, but so far it's basically the same story. The story overall is not very different at all. There are definite differences, but saying "nor same story" isn't yet evidenced by what's been released. I'll trust the writer for now, but as of Ep 4 we'll know for sure whether things are as changed as has been implied. They are changed, but the changes aren't that big so far.

What I meant with "nor same story with upgraded renders" is that all the scripts, scenes, dialogues are the same but the rendered images upgraded (better ones), visual upgrades only.
At least from what I've read the writer mentioned about fixing plot holes in Episode 2, so there is scene or dialogue changes there.
But yeah I agree that essentially (overall) it is the same story because the developers main intention is to make the earlier episodes fall in line with Episode 4, 5 and so on.
They can't suddenly start with a different story because the middle part is set in stone so to speak.

And I'm saying that the story itself is the same (with some tweaking ofc), but there are several significant changes. The bowling scene, for instance, was never in Episodes 1–3 before. Admittedly, I got behind a bit and hadn't played since Episode 3, but that scene was completely new to me in playing through the rewrite. Additionally, the character model for Kaydence is majorly different, so while generally it's a lot of improved quality with renders, there's a bit more than just "upgraded" images, and certainly not just "visual upgrades only". That describes the majority of the changes, but there are others beyond just adjustments to the story itself and image touch-ups.

The game went to Episode 4 and then the dev team took on a new writer. They decided to rework the four existing episodes to make things more in line with what the primary dev wanted and to improve things overall (pacing, character personality adjustments, etc.). So Episode 4 is old and may not even reflect what happens later in the game. Just do the top download link (from your screenshot) to play the rewritten Episodes 1 and 2. Episodes 3 and 4 are being rewritten but haven't been released yet.View attachment 2301288 what does this have to do with episode 4???or what does it give???

I finally finished these two rewrited episodes and have to agree with most of the comments here - the plot has been improved, as well as some of the characters (especially MC and his mother). Previously I droped this game after second episode, but now I will surely wait for the next updates.
Some comments:
- RE The "Moorhees" flashback: Either Harper (great name, BTW) or the Dev has been watching WAY too many Slasher Films. (And isn't Harper just the sexiest little cutey?! Except for that God-awful hairstyle when she visits. sigh...)
- The two idiots are there for 3 days and only just now find out the town's NAME?!!!
- MC is currently 20, but 5 years ago he was getting ready to leave for college (cf Grace's flashback)? OK, SOME people... but frankly, HE sure doesn't seem to be that smart.
- Seriously, MC's personality is very off-putting for me. I really don't like playing total jerks that have to advertise that they are idiots every time they open their mouths.
- Dev has a fetish for purple hair, eh?
- Lisa looked a LOT better as a blonde and with longer hair. (But maybe that's just me...)
- The animation on the drive with Hazel was interesting and a lot better than Hanna-Barbera does it.
- Oh, and Thank You for pubic hair, as opposed to PURPLE hair!!! (Extra points for Ginger!)
- ??"de-creepify"?? I don't think that one's in Funk & Wagnalls.
- OK, Hunter. It sounds like Hazel was TOO "friendly" (right...) with the guy and, as per the stereotypical Alpha Male, he now thinks he OWNS her. "I've been thinking about a security system". REALLY?? Ever hear of Something called CURTAINS or BLINDS?!! Or fencing? Cause you don't have ANY in your private, isolated, miles from town, VULNERABLE, cabin- especially for the pool, where you are most at risk, and where he loves to perv on you and now, YOUR GUESTS (which, of course, in his mind are included in HIS "harem").

Telephoto lens effect?
Probably about right for Europa or one of the inner moons of Saturn, Dione for instance. It would be DAMN cold, though.

When they meet Hunter, there are some misplaced renders with Hazel in the car, and Lisa and Hazel leaving the car.
There may be more misplaced renders, but that's all in that scene.

Lovely re-write of episode 1 and 2, dev. Great work on making the dialogue feel more natural and overall friendlier, and great new renders. I think there's a bit more understanding of all the characters, and the game feels more fleshed out in this new rewrite.

It is so refreshing to finally play a great game that has so much potetial and have one of my new favorite ladies in the character Hazel! She is so damn hot and has the awesome personality to go along with that amazing Milf Body that is a 10 all day! Please dev do NOT make us wait any longer to have her fuckin the mc is next update cause it's all but her to do just that to keep her in her true character after all the teasing she does with him in this last update.
