Episodes 1–4 were reworked, so you actually absolutely should have restarted from the beginning. In addition to some scene changes, there are variables that weren't there before. You will likely miss content if the variables aren't set properly from previous choices in the reworked episodes. In this episode, for example, there are a few different animated scenes available, depending on past choices and then decisions in this latest Episode 5.

I don't know what to tell you, but it's 100% achievable. I have the current version, and I was able to get that scene easily. The only way I can see that you wouldn't be able to get it is either (1) that you didn't start over with the reworked content — old saves won't track variables correctly to allow the scene to happen; or (2) you have done something wrong. That scene is completely achievable with the current version with Ep1–4 reworked. You must forgive her immediately in Episode 2, and then in Episode 5 you must make at least 3 choices that add to her dominance (see this post).
