It's actually not though, I've spoken to the dev on his discord and not only is he releasing more updates for her game, his intention for Emi was a short visit to the cabin before going back to her own game.

And now that emi's character was taken out behind the shed, I'm glad I didn't even bother playing her 2nd game, and even if she's optional she clearly wanted to join mc's harem, so she's been relegated to cockjumper, what a shame, and from the devs poll about ntr, he hasn't the faintest idea what it is lol all while setting it up.

His plan is to ideally continue both, as for whether Emi will be a side LI in the Cabin, sadly he's taking the cop-out path of letting the player decide that. Despite claiming he's personally against NTR, but due to the 'overwhelming demand' of a certain player segment who wants to see it, is making Emi an OPTIONAL side LI, even knowing she has her own main LI, who as of the most recent update of her own game, is waiting patiently for his sister/gf to come back home to him after visiting their mom.

Well, unfortunately Emi's character is kinda ruined in her own game with that update here. Even if you choose "no interest" she still says she's disapointed you do not want to "conquer her"...

Basically, we the player are cucking ourselves since we are the protagonist of both games, hers and this one, and before you can say, well who cares if I am the protagonist of both, I mean, that's your opinion, but for me, I don't like knowing the girl that told me she was in love with me for years is down to jump on another guy's dick, especially after literally just leaving me back at the motel she told me stay at while she goes smooth over our incestual relationship with our mother.

Horrible dialogue decision. Ideally Emi should have either turned down her cousin outright, thanking him for the compliment but telling him he has his own sister and mother to sex up, or just laugh off her cousin's lame attempt at flirting with her. And her actually responding she is 'disappointed' in not choosing to pursue her outright makes her look like a cock thirsty whore.
The progress is astounding, it has been nearly 5 years in the making,so still need another 5 year?

And that's all of it? Holy hell) Dropped this game at episode 4 or smth, due to the plot becoming unbearably stupid with a wandering around the cabin maniac + characters imbecilic behavior. Game is almost 4 yo and judging by your screenshots there is still teenagers level of intimacy with MC's family, without any actual hot incestious family fucking for all this time. And on top of it, if I understood correctly, Dev already started cucking his own old MC and turning his LI into a cheating whore. How can anyone who worked so many years in the adult game industry be so dumb in the question of common sense to make so dumb and obvious mistakes in writing enjoyable and romantic AVN with supposedly great waifus? I have a feeling that Dev just accepted a shady big donation from some NTR lovers to turn the game in this direction, and after, Dev just tries to justify it and feed his bullshit to his fanbase with some utterly braindead explanations)

He mentioned that he doesn't profit much from this game, having achieved better results with small releases like EMI and Adverse Effects. Thus, I believe that the delay in finishing this project is due to the need to invest in side projects to supplement his income.
