I actually thought that was a bad update too, the sex with her was extremely rushed and just felt out of place.

There was no scene, the main love interest from his the game showed up in this one as a potential love interest with flags. That made people upset because that meant she was willing too or could eventually cheat on the mc of the game she game from, which is the thing that got people upset.

I'm now just here for the incoming "NTR" shit storm since Emi is now trying to fuck her cousin too (that you can avoid by simply turning her down if you don't want your other avatar's, ie your own, sloppy seconds or probably tapping their baby with your dick). I mean in the other AVN the MC in my play through is a man whore that even tried to fuck the waitress behind her back, so I'm not gonna be butt hurt if she does the same thing to him with her cousin. As far as back-pedalling, personally I'd just stick to my guns and make what I'm gonna make, fuck what the f95 crybabies want that by now will never pay anything anyway, I wouldn't be making an AVN for a popularity contest here. At least that's the way I see it (and my AVN I have in my head wouldn't be allowed here anyway and prob could only be mometized on Unifans).

Everybody here talking about Emi and that bitch has already been fucked on screen in that other game and meanwhile here we are on Ep 7 and the main star and best bitch HAZEL is all but forgotten after the incredible lead up to beginning what could be far better time invested than any other easily forgettable remaining lot.
Just take a sec and put them on list and what you have minus Hazel & of course her daughter Emi and it is pretty much crap! Why after starting action with Hazel with the last update and it setting up the next update one would think that surely she is the leading chic to be who the mc would make way more choices to spend any & all time with her & even manipulate certain situations when possible for her and you to get to be alone for some time together. It would have been a very smart move to maybe get farther with more potentially ready girls than set off on dumb forced time with drunk mommy who is all over the place and then forcing shit with imo the worst bitch who is ready for the wacko to get her! Never would have thought when last update ended it just would abandon that progress and not even have any advancing content with her and throw some new random chic in the mix to take more time from the one who should have been an almost lock for more of her but oh well. I guess popular females are not important anymore since all the bullshit crying of equality, the ugly dumb bitches have to be here too huh? Fucking disappointment 100%

Kinda lame to me when a dev kisses F95 whiners' asses when they don't even pay him. If subs wanted it (I'm assuming he put it to a vote beforehand), stick with it.

Honestly, the post imo read less like it was the dev caving to criticism and more that he agreed that it that it's out of character for her and weakens the romance in her own game. He seemed more upset about the game being called a cashgrab.
I mean partically because they are actually canon to each other in this game. The Mc in this game is the mc in that games cousin and the game already references the events from the other game. They clearly take place in the same universe. So anything canon to this game is canon to that game

If i have it understood correctly, the complains were about Emi a LI/fuckable in this game and as such cheating on the MC in the other game, while in canon she is still together with that MC, so also cheating on the MC in this game...
But it seems Emi will now not be a LI in this game, due to a lot of complains.
Imo, i like Emi, but this game has it's fair share of good LI's so i have rather the dev focus on them and if he wants to make a other game with Emi also good.
A cameo appearance is a nice touch thought.

Context is everything, as per your analogy, you don't see Frank being given the opportunity to date Jaye or pursue her as a LI.
As a matter of fact several of Cell's patrons, myself included had a chance to talk it over with him and he agreed he never even wanted to add Emi as a LI to begin with in the Cabin. He always had a specific arc in mind for her and it never included banging her cousin, and once that's done she will fuck off back to her own game with her own LI.
As for those crying about losing Emi as a LI in the Cabin, you never had her as a LI to begin with with, you didn't lose anything and if you wanted to make her your main LI, you still can... in her own game, of which there was a recent update last month.

I don't think it's a big deal but I feel like your point kind of misses some of the complaints. Imo the issue is less about the player being cucked and more that it's character assasination and underminds that games romance that she's willing to cheat. It's also not really an ntr game so bringing something that could potentially been seen as ntr suddenly like that could be scene as backlash. In actually ntr games you know what you're getting into it's the whole point, most of the games I've seen with optional ntr even have it more that the protagonist is competing with another guy and the ntr is usually what happens when the mc is either too slow to make a move or angers their love interest in some way. So it's not really comparable to what's going on here, and there really isn't a reason for Emi to want to cheat other than so the mc in this game can have a harem.
Honestly even without the whole ntr debate I don't really see why she's needed. We already have enough LI in this game and we still haven't had sex with any of the main LI. There was a sex scene with the aunt but it got removed. I'd rather us actually focus on progress with the Mom, sister and Aunt in this game than to add another Li. Doesn't matter if it's Emi or not

Not saying my AVN wouldn't be shit but there's over 100 that I know of that aren't allowed here, some of which are pretty good imo with $100k/mo worth of subs so apparently I'm not the only one that likes them so must not be that bad.

Anybody know how to enable rollback with this? There's no options.rpy file that I can find, and the only things I can find with rollback in it are *.py files, but I have no idea if inserting "define config.rollback_enabled = True" into one of them is going to work or if it will break the whole of reality.
