Yup, got some tips from a compressor who knew more than I did. You have to really look hard at the background or Alina's wings compared to the originals to notice any difference.

Sorry, but this is just the most refined jumping off point for Arc 2 with fixes, translations, and some updated renders, but I am releasing the standalone start of Arc 2 on subscribestar very soon, hopefully in time for Christmas (fingers crossed), and it will have save carryover, a default quickstart, or custom start, but it won't be released here (at least by me) till a bit later to give my subs time to enjoy it. Mainly wanted to update things here in preparation and plug the winter sale on steam.

Usually i dont really read with these games. But i think i read about 95% of this story. Nice work so far. Looking forward to seeing how the rest plays out. The "action" scenes where of quality too. I hope this game lives to see its full story completed. It has potential.

No export necessary, I am thus far having no issues retaining the same secondary save folder location. You will just have to load a save from the last chapter of Arc 1, but since I'm retaining the same save folder it will be suggested to keep your saves somewhat orderly and/or named because you will be able to see/overwrite all previous saves from Arc 1, but only the ones from the last chapter will load in Arc 2 (and be playable) and of course trying to load an Arc 2 save in Arc 1 won't work either, but they to will be visible.
This is all assuming you don't clean renpy secondary save files from appdata/roaming that are maintained on all platforms to my knowledge and you can always copy saves from the original default folder into the standalone arc 2 game/save folder location if needed, but honestly even the custom quickstart doesn't take long to fill in from scratch. So should be no worries.
