A waste of time this game, I do not recommend if you want to play the man route, it seems that the author is an Asian beta, many options that do not change anything, and out of nowhere the sister is Escort, if it were our decision maybe but there is people who do not like to share what is the point of the dominant route if your sister becomes an Escort, and your mother is worse, at least the escorts charge

The milking patreon thing is just a meme at this point and gets thrown around so much it has lost all meaning.

That said, the dev may be very active but he's also very odd in how he decided to structure his updates.
Conventionally I'd expect a title with monthly fees to try and give everybody a little something, or at least alternate different kinds of content from update to update. Instead The Company went on an endless cycle of pretty much exclusively John updates, to the point where I haven't even felt tempted to give it a try in what must be close to a year now.
That may or may not be more efficient when doing an overhaul, it may even have been greenlit by his patrons, but I doubt it's very successful in attracting or retaining players that aren't interested in sucking virtual dick.

So yeah, he's not milking, but I can't say I appreciate what he's doing either.
To each their own I guess.

Whoah, "monthly fees"? Let's be real, this game hasn't got monthly fees, it's based on voluntary donations. There's a pretty massive difference there, so let's stay honest.

And yeah, the whole milking thing is a meme for sure. I mean if you look at threads for games like Summertime Saga for example, every time an update is about to drop, the whining bitter army crawls out of their moms basements. And once their eyes have adjusted to the sunlight, here come the 6000 posts whining about the dev making money and updates taking longer than a week to complete.

I've not played this in forever, but I just got on question that I'd love to have answered; is there ANY reason to not dose people with the serum? Are there any alternative routes yet, or do you simply hamper progression by not dosing Tasha, Ava, Dekota etc.?

And on that note, is there a newer guide than

Just wondering, I've done this quite a few times already, just wanted to know if there's anything I can do differently this time around.

That he works on it everyday doesn't mean project doesn't stagnate. Lets look at this update for instance - bug fixes and refactoring, no new content. At this point he mostly just changes existing content instead of adding something new, and gotta say some of changes are for worse. I liked how Diana was before that ISS update, she actively tried to dom you, and now she just goes with the flow, and you have to try hard to make her dom you, which kinda defeats the purpose. That's just one example, but I feel that overall game just stuck in development bog and moving forward very slow (if moving at all). Its very common for games with big scope and only 1 development, look at Lilith Throne updates for example. I see few possible solutions for this:
- Hire more people and work as a team.
- Plan realistic scope when you begin your game.

So im NOT fucking crazy and a event with diana "raping you" did exist

If I remember correctly you can have sex with Penny without dosing her and you can have a more "normal" relationship with her but all her other content like preparing chems in the morning or making her a dom etc is still locked if you don't dose her. I think its also similar to Tasha but even more extreme. You can take her on a date and kiss her but to do anything remotely sexual you have to dose her.

At this point I'd argue that less than 10 percent of patreon devs would continue their projects if those "voluntary donations" stopped coming in and of those few that remained even fewer would develop at anywhere near the current speed. No matter how it started, it's a business now and often a full-time job. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Whether you call it fees or donations, the purpose is obvious and there's not much point in arguing semantics. It's a bit like those dreaded mobile games that don't finance themselves through advertising. You don't have to pay to play, but without the whales the entire thing dies pretty quickly.

My original post was about the nature of updates in games that charge monthly. Feel free to replace "fees" with "donations" in your head since that doesn't change the point I was trying to make at all.
