IIRC it was when the Strange Strap-on was put onto a more exclusive path, rather than being available to buy at any time.

You have to restart the game or at least grab a save prior to you changing the Mom. I have not found a way to remove that once it is used...

Nope. Once you give someone, MCSX, it's forever. I usually recommend people make a save before hand so they can peak in and go back if the results aren't your thing
