Digging it. Finally got around to this and totally digging it.
I had a similar premise once for a story but in my version, the Males were slightly more common...enough for most cities to have one two who'd be claimed by the most powerful covens. While the men had massive reservoirs of mystic energy for a coven to draw on the males could not use that power themselves except to enhance their physical traits like strength and speed. But usually that couldn't stand up well against the much flashier or more exotic powers females used so most were enslaved by female witches and were often transformed against their will into pets to make them easier to control. Essentially, they were Witch familiars. Until a prophesied one emerged with way more energy that normal and able to use it defensively.
Anyway, just thought i'd share the quick walk down memory lane this premise sent me down.
One suggestion...when being told that magic is real for the first time by Lilith the protag just accepts everything at face value with no hint of disbelief. There should be SOMETHING...even if it's just asking Lilith to perform a minor trick like conjuring small fire...to prove to him that this is all real.
Or an explanation for why he believes it all so quickly.
Other than that...please don't abandon this. This is shaping up to be one of the top games on the site I think.
