Not 4 years of regular updates, or even 4 years of 2 massive updates every half a year or so. There hasn't been much released in general over the time, so it's not a pacing or milking issue.
If memory serves, this dev like a few others, is making this while they are or were in college, greatly reducing the time they can commit to this

It doesn't bother me, partly because it's not something I'd be against doing just in general. Chances are dryads or no dryads we've already done that to Anna and her mom and will go on to to it to her sister too.
That said, if the person we'll be helping in the dryads wasn't a nice as she is, and everything was being handled differently, I would be more apposed and feel like I'm being used.

If it's me running MC he's witching everyone, I'm more likely to be annoyed by someone not being witchable, than being forced to witch someone.

I was assured way back in '81 that I've got the magic power of the music in me.
You know what, thinking about that, she was the only one (at least showed in the game) than show real concern about MC being left out of the 'family' before they knew he have powers too.
Just a comment for those complaining about all the sex and nudity, 1 its a porn game, 2 male witches seem to have an inbuilt attraction for women 3 witches use sex to transfer power from one to the other 4 witches in general seem to be more promiscuous, at least with their own kind, posibly as a result of the ability to control their periods and advanced healing, 5 despite a decent storyline, its a porn game, you found it on a site for porn games, what did you expect?
Why not just enjoy it for what it is? We all wish that every story we liked released faster, was more to our taste etc. You just have to say "thank you" to the devs who release these entertaining stories for little or no reward and be grateful we get them at all.

Good point, our mom only really feels guilty about it in hindsight. Our other two sisters didn't seem too bothered by the idea of leaving us behind at any point.

Go after whoever you want with no consequences. Some know about others, some don't. Some are unavoidable, some are optional. But how it will look as a harem towards the end, I'm not sure.
