This is someone working on a complicated creative project in their spare time around their job, I don't understand people expecting massive, frequent updates. I think you can have it good quality with meaningfully different routes, or you can have it with fast updates, it's strange to expect both

You're probably right about that, and people who just want the content for free anyway don't really have room to complain.
For the creator's Patreon supporters, I think it's probably fair to say that calling it a Beta release of Chapter 8 may have been a bit of an overstatement since much of the chapter just wasn't finished (even in a testing state). E.g., about a month passed between the Beta release of Chapter 7 and the full release. For Chapter 8, it has been 3 months since Beta release and with two more scenes to go, it wouldn't be crazy to think it could be another 3 months before all chapter content has been rendered. I'm sure it is challenging for independent developers that they need to show that things are still happening to maintain interest, but almost inevitably, development winds up taking longer than estimates.
Not really an update if you think there is so little content that it isn't worth posting.

There is, and the 4th beta update just got updated "again" 5 days ago to add Bacchus, then Adriana is left to finish chapter 8 beta, and it will be the final version and make 5 updates in total to chapter 8....
After the Adrianna update it will move on to Chapter 9.
It turns out that, most likely, the final version of chapter 8 will be released in 1 - 2 months.

Just so everyone knows that is an unfinished beta missing content, still needs the Adriana content to finish chapter 8, and then it moves on to Chapter 9, so there is no ending to this update, and not sure about saves when the full version comes out.

is the threesome in this chapter supposed to be forced? It is for me, but I avoided the first one and this doesn't seem right. I do not want this sharing scene. It's annoying me. I assume it's gotta be a bug since everything else has been avoidable.

It isn't an old version, it is just "split" to keep the size down. There is a questionnaire at the beginning.

Hey guys, a question: I've played chapters 1-5, now I'm going straight on to chapter 8? Did I miss something? Where are chapters 6 & 7?
Also, the (sharing)scene with Leon from Chapter 8 is unavoidable. Will this change with the final release or is this already final?

6 and 7 are part of 8...there is missing content in chapter 8, it isn't done yet. There is another chapter/part to be added to it before the dev moves on to chapter 9.
