The thing is, once you learn a code you can copy-paste it around. Just make a list of tools (codes, in this case) you need. The dev is not adding minigames or something different or complicated, he is only expanding a story that is limited to talking and showing pictures. He should have no trouble to move on. And he had no trouble to move on all way up to 0.5v. What I'm saying is - he is not stuck. Everyone is free to support the lazy dev, but don't buy his excuses. He is dragging it too long.
If you don't understand coding, you can look at rpgmaker that can be learned in as little as 30 5-20min long tutorials. RPG maker is designed for people who want to skip coding or have as little coding as possible. If the dev would step up and learn Pixel Game Maker MV, he would make even better game. Transfering all his pictyres to RPGmaker or Pixel Game Maker is not a problem.
