may i recommend to remove this
scene intro_mc with dissolve
label name_set:
$ persistent.fname = renpy.input("What is your first name?", default=persistent.fname, length=15, allow=allow1).capitalize() or persistent.fname
if persistent.fname != "Redmond":
$ persistent.mcnic = renpy.input("What will your friends call you?", default=persistent.mcnic, length=15, allow=allow1).capitalize() or persistent.mcnic
it unnecessary interferes with naming the mc - like you want "AxelF" for example , the F will be always lower case

Isn't Shaddy working with someone else on their game? I remember the dev of that particular game mention Shaddy. Not gonna out the game or dev but I did read it in the game's thread several days ago. Maybe, there's more than one Shaddy.

I love this game and shaddy in general. I hope he puts in some lesbian incest. Especially the twins. Mmmmm twincest is best cest. Hope things are good with shaddy now. He was so active here for a while. Glad to come searching and find a post stating the game wasn't dead. To bad hes having irl problems though. Take your time shaddy, as bad as we all want it, no one wants a half finished product. Get it right more important than on time but shitty. Good luck sir. Hi, I just wanted to express my huge gratitude to the dev for making the preferences menu so nice and customized. So many devs like to remove options (a lot of them like to make you jump through extra hoops just to skip transitions), but this one added so many useful options. Thanks for being a good dev, dev.
