Dancing Inn 0.2.7 released!
Howdy guys and gals!
It's been a while and finally a new update has landed. I feel like it's only fair to communicate what I've been up to this whole time. The adventuring update required monsters. I found that many of the available fantastic creature LoRas I required do not work well with erotic positions and I've been left to only one course of action - to make some new LoRas myself. So I've sourced the datasets and trained multiple subnets for monsters which to my relief worked quite well reducing the time to create an adventuring sprite significantly. These new images are complex in nature and require much more work, many more inpainting cycles and a touch of manual brush.
Now onto the adventuring system - how it works? Basically there are 4 monster groups:
- goblins
- undead
- old ones
- demigods
Each group has a track and a figurine - if you manage to push the figurine to the end you get the endgame item required to win the game. The figurines backtrack by 1 every turn so the ultimate endgame goal of the game is to have 3-4 girls specialized in adventuring that embark on expeditions and successively push the figurine to the end. All groups have different difficulties and stats that increase the expedition success chance (for example Old Ones use a new Attunement stat).
I'm very fond of that system as it uses the strategy/management theme and all of the accumulated resources. It won't be complete however without:
- tutorial/help screens for adventuring
- tooltips that give information about stats and mechanics
- a way to get both libido and attunement stats
- a way to reset the perks for a girl
- an overhaul of the request system (more requests/better rewards etc.)
These are the things I'll focus on this week and we'll be back on semi-weekly schedule. Right now only Issa and Alma have the adventuring sprites and I aim to fill in all the girls in 2-3 weeks.
Thank you for your patience. We're entering the phase of the project where all major systems are in place (we'll see about fishing, yes I'm writing this to you my guy) - and it excites me greatly because I know how many things require polishing. New content for existing systems and polishing will be the name of the game from now on and we'll probably symbolically change the Lewdgendary tag into something else.
The update is not compatible with old save files.
Oh and last thing - there's a new cheat menu accessible with CTRL + SHIFT + D. Use it irrationally.
