There are three bundles, so it should work three times.
Yeah! I was so excited I missed the word "more" ...

So, the other way to do the re-purchase thing is to:
  • log-out
  • add the items to the cart
  • login
  • apply tokens
So, with the "1 bundle and 2 non-bundle" rule and 8 tokens you can get:

Which gives you 33.0180% on the $500 GC including the $14.91 buy-in

The 36% percent gift cards are still a thing today, so it wasn't really a glitch. Only that it was triggered by only one bundle + debut item was a glitch, it was supposed to be one bundle + two debut items.

So that still works, and it can be applied to the current sale, which does end up with pretty good discounts then. I can get PA items that are currently at 60% to 87% with 8 tokens when also using the 1776 wishlist sale coupon. Still depends on how old the asset is, so older means even cheaper.

I tried some bundles, recent ones seem to be mostly 91%, older ones can be had for 93% off.

The 1776 coupon is limited to 17 items, and the buy in for the 20% extra is pretty steep, and the stuff you need to buy is really not that great. Plus it makes more sense to still use it for a gift card instead imho.

You would need to buy a lot to offset the high buy in for the extra 20% off, so I guess if I were to buy something I'd try to get a bunch of bundles. Otherwise I feel like the discounts are kind of negated by the high buy in.

Yup very disappointing, buy-ins are too steep and the base discounts from every single one of my wish-list items bar one has been removed so the 1776 coupon does not make them any more attainable ...

Did they put any more items? I saw two, then the whole thing vanished.
Probably, you can see in the top sellers on the main page a couple of items that have 2$ price in their price history (if you use the Daz Deals browser addon you can see the price history).

WTF?!?

It hurts my eyes, make it stop... my news feeds are already flooded with those guys, Daz Studio was my safe place... until now...
o_O

No idea if the sale is any good, too distracted by the imagery... others can dissect the sale if they are so inclined.

Yeah, I can definitely see how that bundle is going to do well in the VN dev market.

Either way, it looks like there should be some stacking opportunities because multiple promos are active at the same time. But I can't really spot anything.

I did throw some random stuff into my cart, and I even have some tokens still, but I only got to ~78% off on some of the items. Which isn't that great. Plus I had to buy like a ton of stuff because a lot of the promos require getting multiple items to get the benefit. Also each promo has a featured PAs list, and there does not seem to be any overlap. What's missing is some kind of "20% off your entire order promo".

So I would just recommend waiting right now. The upcoming PA sale is actually the good sale last year (I mis-remembered previously, I thought the Daz+ Summer Sale was the good one), so if its just as good as last year then you should spend your gift card money then instead of now.

I do kind of think the good GC card sale means the sales are going to be kind of meh for a while though. So maybe just prepare to be patient. Maybe look for flash sales or those lightning deals if you really want to buy something.

I have not posted any Humble Bundles in a while, even though are still two Unreal bundles currently available with plenty of 3D assets:

But, the one bundle that made me want to post here is this one:

cc04ff498fa5abdec2c033d261f0352ad932a6b0_png.png

A Blender Market asset bundle. Neat, and I don't even have that many of them, what a relief!

EDIT: If you buy it, the link you get is wrong, the bundle is here: also coupons can be tricky to apply on blendermarket, make sure there is no whitespace by pressing delete at the end/backspace at the beginning while in the form if it gives you trouble about the coupon.

EDIT2: Also, downloading mulitple GBs worth of stuff from Blender Market sucks ass. That's just how it is.

Flash sales at Daz, both suck imho.

0711-flashsale.jpg 0711-flashsale2.jpg

The one for only new items sucks because you'd need to buy a bunch of new items (duh!), which are expensive, and then you get only 30% extra off. It also prevents you from taking advantage of any stacking, because the only reason to buy new items is usually to get some other stuff for less, so that makes it bad.

The other one looks like its just the same set of items they had in all (or some at least) the other promos. I didn't actually look that closely, so maybe I am wrong. 85% off would be good, but since it's 50-85% I assume the good stuff is going to be 50% off, and then you can't actually add new items to stack some discounts to get a better price and then that would end up pretty awful in comparison. Also it does not say which item has what discount, so you have to guess, which means spending time sorting through all that stuff and try things by putting them into your cart, not sure if that's worth it. EDIT: Well, it's based on age, as the promo actually says, so you could sort by "New Arrivals" and then figure out where the better discounts start, but still, too much guessing imho.

EDIT: They run for a long time. Like really long actually. Maybe they'll release something on the weekend that you really want, end then the shiny & new one might make some sense.

EDIT2: Lots of bundles in the Flashback Goodies one, pretty much all of them maybe? So if you have tokens, and want to buy old bundles, then this one might actually be a good one.

Actually, this sale is rather good. The number of items is very large. Most are undiscounted, but almost all the DOs are at 65% off (50%+30%). The algorithm to compute the actual discount is unknown, but you can get old bundles for a very low price. G3 pro bundles are at $9.5 (93%), G2 pro bundles (or older) at $7.1 (95%).
And of course this can stack with lightning deals and tokens/coupons if you have some.

Not sure how long they've been freebies, but there's a new batch of freebies over at Daz3D.com. Older stuff, but there are some props in the freebie mix that you may find useful at some point maybe...

Also, that 'NO New Release in cart' sale is bleeding over to lightning deals, so keep an eye on those for interesting deals.

the top-200 sale just got pulled. whether it'll be back, don't know.
I'm still seeing it. The banner may have been removed temporarily and then re-added maybe.

coupon code: TOP-200

However, the Lightning Deals page is currently broken, which has been reported in 'The Commons' thread in the Daz3D.com forums.

Apparently someone is currently tweaking the website, which is messing with things.
