Check the mod patch post in the OP. The downloads includes a 'Save Only' file if you want just the save. Otherwise its included in the mod version.

Does this game finally have a good english translation? I remember playing it before and it was MTL galore back then. It was also pretty laggy which was a bummer as well.

Ok I have two questions:

Is there any point to buying the house after the ending cuz it just looks to increase the amount of creatures you can capture (havent tried cuz going for true ending so an assumption)

In the Underwater tunnel after you save the twin boys was there any way to interact with them afterwards or not? Im not sure if I missed something or the game bugged out on me.

If ya go right of the guild during the game (right below the orphanage i believe) theres a man who keeps saying what can he do with an empty house. After beating the game he sells it to you.
After a bit more playing, it seems as if you use the house as a way to adopt kids from the orphanage and the twins in the underwater tunnel (assuming you saved them of course)
Post-game after donating 100k to the orphanage i think the option to adopt comes up if you bought the house.

Yeah its post game content. There are 5 kids you can adopt in total (unless im missing any though i doubt it)
