He most likely abandoned the idea of working full time, or perhaps he decided that Ocean needs to be overthrown as the dumbest dev in the community. His approach to this project, on which he is supposedly working full time, is wrong in every possible way—nonexistent marketing, nonexistent communication, nonexistent previews, and most importantly, no updates. Not even an insignificant one, like the last one which was released, let me check, seven months ago .

And what do you want to say?
This site has 688 with "no sexual content" tag and 467 that are completed. That means 3.6% of the games in total and around every 27th game has the "no sexual content" tag. That doesn't include the ones that have very little sexual content, only the ones that have none at all. And, although a minority, I wouldn't call every 27th game without any sexual content rare.

You sure we are playing the same game. There is adult content as far as I am concerned. Sure you can criticize the dev on many other aspects, but not on this one.

well yes there is adult content ,but how much? a bj maybe 2 some rubbing,and some teasing but nothing else ,unless you count the sex scene with that lady ,but was not worthly,but yeah there is ,for a game with 7 years in development there is,....maybe when is tatally finished in like 20 years will have some sex scenes with the ladys we want.....

I would simply tell you to read the FAQ... but i know it is a weak defense if compared to 6 yrs wait.
Bah, I don't play for 'a' part of the avn now, so it doesn't bothered me much, if there are less or no sexy stuff at all. But I accept the fact that we are different people with different preferences.
Still calling adult content pretty 'non-existent' is not really something true, and the ones who play know it. And that is what I was talking about. I bet the dev was withholding the actual sex scenes with Li for season 2, but it now seems like a slow burn .

on a side note this screenshot is a blast from the past, you look at it and can immediately tell the development has been going on for so long. character sprites on a still image was the go to couple years back and now you nearly never see it. i think a player that has only previously played newer avns would get shellshocked by seeing this, it aged terribly.

Sexual content is adult content, but not all adult content is sexual. There's plenty of adult content in this game with a little bit of it being porn. Should there be more by now? Maybe, but the dev wanted it to be a story with some porn, not a porno with some story.

I think the problem here isn't with the game itself but how long it takes for updates to come like it took 7 years but those 7 years weren't full of updates in the game this whole season 1 being short on sexual acts is justified in my eyes because between a traumatize girl, a girl with no sexual knowledge at all and a MC who was dropped in a world who he has no idea that exists you would focus more on introducing them to all of that other than to rush any sexual act which will get boring fast and rather focus on write a well written story that after 7 years still grabbing the attention of everyone

even the discord has no updates and plenty of people calling the game dead so this might be all we are getting.

Hmmmmm.... What can I say about this game. The best piece of storytelling that I have ever played in any video game, and probably one of the best scenes across any media IMO. We are talking about Luna's story of course.

But the updates have been so underwhelming for such a long time, that I have just started losing interest in playing it anymore.
The story basically does not move forward anymore. I'm sure it will be a masterpiece in story telling once it is done, but it I'm just not excited about it anymore.

The last version I played in 2022 (0.8) and it seems from the description that there is very little that happened since then.
Will wait another year and then I will try it again. It will be good once it's done I'm sure.

4 months without an update and people are calling it dead. Noobs do not have much experience with games here, if they knew how long it takes for some games to release an update.

I just hope you are right, but at the same time it's hard not to go with the sentiment. As alfius pointed out as well. Content wise the game has not really progressed much since 2022, surely there was a steam (re)release, we had some lore and some lewd content with the bikini lady, but story wise there was next to nothing. Combe this with the promises made e.g. hopes going full time, but he has no nothing to show for it, the last release was released early to give the players something but then the additional content never came. Well and then you get the sentiment that we are in now....

But then again, hopes deserves the benefit of the doubt as his game is just to good. So i reslly hope you are right and that hopes is working somewhere secretly to program the best game ever.

Either way HopesGaming if you are reading this, i hope you are okay and know thst no matter if you developed nothing. The game you brought out already is so awesmome, you can be really proud of it. If i could give you any advice, it would be to always stay true to everyone, including yourself. If you cant make it to do anything on the game for a year, thats fine. If you lost your passion to continue, thats fine. Just do not make promisses you know before hand you cant keep. Setting s goal and not making it, is ok, as long as you are honest about it.
