I mean, we can all still hope, I guess. We all thought Heart Problems was gone forever because the dev simply disappeared all of a sudden - people even thought he was dead - and then he drops an amazing update completely out of nowhere. So, who knows, maybe it will happen here too.

Hopes' wife was already aware of him developing this game and his job as a AVN developer well before the two of them got married and has been supportive all the way.
The house they bought together also has a private studio/office room he uses to develop this game (I should know, given him and I used to chat in DMs on discord before).

I don't want to burst your bubble but I wouldn't count on it too much. Better to lose all hope and be positively surprised than to hang up to the wishful thinking and get systematically disappointed.

I'm not going to pretend to know what's going on in Hopes life, but a wife that wants to start a family with a husband that creates adult games is probably not what she wants the father of her kids to embark on.

Dude... this is 2025 not the medieval times. Lot's of girls enjoy adult games as much as guys. And you know what almost everyone enjoys for their family? Money.
So, not needed to have your children playing your novels. But any woman might enjoy a novel, be proud of their husband for doing one and even more if they are successful.
It's just some adult game, not cooking meth.

Just so you know, I know of at least two VNs produced by a female developer, and they're really awesome! Okay, they're not for everyone, but still. And in one of them, she hinted that her partner actively supports her.
On the other hand, I know of one developer whose wife gives the female characters the appropriate depth, not just in their behavior, but also in their gestures and facial expressions, and you can really feel that "feminine touch" in the VN!
