Dude, the amount of VNs I've played that present one of their female characters at the start of the game as an "intro" piece and to ask your age, etc etc. Is rather high.

I stopped paying attention to them after a while.

Dev should've at least thrown his supporters a bone and given a summary on how he planned on the story ending and all the mysteries. Would've taken some of the sting out of abandoning it.

Take a clear look at the developement ofthe last releases

  • The freakshow with the reworked contracts.
  • The time window between 0.9.5 and the steam relase. And no, 0.9.6 counts not as a update, and 0.9.5 just counts as one because of the massive advance of trust he has gotten from his fan/support base.
  • Steam release was a joke. Codex and VN mode, really?!
  • Total radio silence after the release on steam and the bold announcement - before the steam release - that the Steam release would mark the start of his career as a full-time developer
Don't get me wrong, I like the game really much but I think that this game will never be completed.
My money is on the bet, that Hopes future wife - after the engagement - has sniffed out what kind of game he was devloping, and was giving him hell for it. Before, he could just hide behind the statement "I develop a indie game" afterwards, it's not so easy to hide the fact that the said game is adult themed.

Hopes keeping to his words? If you believe that, well then you ARE gullible. He is many things, but keeping to his words, especially when it comes to the development of this game, is not one of them.

Am I complaining? No, not at all. It is what it is. Life goes on without this AVN. There are many just as good, if not better. It's just like a favorite TV show getting cancelled after a cliffhanger. It happens. A lot. You wish it didn't happen. But you move on.

Am I disappointed that Hopes has gone radio silent on the development of the game for so long? Absolutely yes. And no, a single communication with essentially no new information, prompted by the game being marked as "Abandoned", does not count.

Am I going to be happy and excited IF another release ever comes? Hell yeah. I'd love to see more of Luna's antics. Characters like her are few and far in-between.

Am I holding my breath for it? Not in a million years. Still holding hope, patience, and trust as if it's just around the corner is just plain stupid at this point.

Am I laughing at the gullibility of people still defending Hopes? You bet your derriere on it.

I mean ... he was obviously joking and hasnt spoken with the dev.

I could imagine that even the devs mouthpiece here has doubts at this point lol. Soon we have anniversary of hope's one patreon message in the last years

I mean I feel like Hope could be under the impression that "Well there's been no updates and I've not said anything so they could all assume that I'm done with it." But as always it's the lack of any communication that's the problem.

Be it a "Yeah I'm still working on it but it will take some time. I'm occasionally working or it. Or sorry everybody but I can't do it so the game is officially done."

I get being busy but I've said this before if the game is cancelled it takes 5 seconds to jump onto Discord or his Pateron page and make that post and be done with it but there's not even that.

The best we used to have was jjj84 giving sporadic updates whenever he heard anything.

Let's be honest, the adult content in this game is pretty freaking mild compared to other stories here. This is really a game with adult content, not an adult game.

Of course, none of this excuses why it's taken so long. This game is why I stopped playing unfinished games.

Oh thanks and sorry,
Mixdrop didn't work for me due to my blcoker i guess,
I prefer using Mega over others
For workupload it gives issue with unstable network and non resumable
And pixeldrain is I think have issue with my area and when i connected to vpn it worked for me, so I'm downloading from it.
