The quest "what is truly weak is truly strong" can't be started because Wilfred says you need to bring a gun and there's no way to "get" it. I'm playing story mode because i wanted to speed throu the already played content...took me 3h+ -.-" And no new content...except maybe the one i can't play...or even if there is, not significant. Or just can't remember, since the last update was...when? I think i had my old laptop...that was a year ago or even more.

I'm a bit disappointed with the update, I love its story but I think the system artificially lengthens the game without adding much more than before. In other words, almost a year later we have the same story but with slightly different mechanics. Hopes, I really think that the fans of this game what we want is for the story to advance. I don't know if there is new story content or not ... I haven't been able to dig deeper, among other things due to the missions.

To be fair, it has been communicated that way for some time.
There is story update, the mission to rescue Eiza's sister. Remember the assassin girl from the end of the last update?

As one of the writers for Contracts - don't be discouraged by failing skill-checks. Most of us made it so that you have optional routes to complete a contract even if you fail. In fact the "Delivery Boy" was created specifically with the goal of providing replayability in mind. When you first do it you might be new and inexperienced so you take a different route then a skilled Soldato would. Of course you might also play it for the first time as a maxed out MC - both options are fine but I made sure you can "evolve" the experience and turn the table on those who were giving you trouble when you were new and failing skill checks. The goal is to have fun!
Also - personally speaking - the "failed both skill-checks" version is way funnier imho!

Happy to start from scratch. For one, I honestly thought it was abandoned and deleted it all from my computer.
But also, it was such a great game and I really really enjoyed it.

Really happy for the new version. This game is just done better than others.

I failed a contract to steal items (which I'd stolen), for failing to buy a book.
I'm sorry, but they're the opposite of fun, for me. They feel like a tedious chore.

Jury is still out with me, I agree that the old contract style was easily exploited for money and what not, this new system may need to be calmed down a tad. I will admit that I am just getting the hang of it, but getting failure after failure because of perception failures, without any way that I can find to change that, gets frustrating after a while (Maybe I am missing something).

The best thing to do is to ignore failures and check later when you get better gear.

So, how long are you going to wait on bug reports before releasing 0.07.1? A few days? A week?

I for one really liked it and am enjoying the replay-ability since the missions are rather short it is fun, a little sad that stealing the wine wasn't a mission in itself though, but that is minor, didn't finish replaying through the whole story yet but it is definitively fun so far, also here is a quote of some problems that I found and some other feedback if you want to see it.

About the bugs - all fixed in 0.07.1

Yeah fuck waiting this long for an update only to have to play through the entire game again because previous saves don't work. Shame as I really enjoyed the game/story but I'm not patient enough for this shit.

That is what can happen to a game in devolepement. This is the first time a savegame doesn't work.

HopesGaming Attempting to access the Gallery, from the main menu, before beginning the game throws up a number of errors, too.

Bug in 0.07. Has been fixed in 0.07.1.

There are a couple of equipment items that add perception, one which adds a lot from Nimble Fingers mission (the special reward). You can fail a fair bit and not *lose* the missions. And there are often ways of earning back mission points, by doing things like exploring or visiting bars.

Each contract has an area which you can visit to refill your Mission Points.
In the first one, it's the area before the place with the houses. You sit down and it refills.
In the 2nd one, visit the pub and have a drink to refill them.

Also - to those complaining about bugs - this is a leaked Patreon version. If you wait a week for the free Public version - most of the bugs should be ironed out. But if you're on a pirate site like F95 complaining that the freshly leaked Patreon beta isn't 100% up to your high standards - maybe wait a weak for a full release? *shrug*

To you trying to shame people - some of those bugs were, I assume, fixed with the help of feedback given by those same people here. Therefore your point is extremely moot and needless, but such outbursts are nothing new. I just felt this one needed to be called out.

HopesGaming Just for stats purposes, generally I liked the new contract system, but their rewards at the start of the game are a little underwhelming. Also, it would be nicer if the screens that describe what's going on when you move to a new tile didn't need a second click to reveal the actions you can take in said tile.
