Making a game with stolen assets and distributing it (REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT YOU'RE MAKING MONEY FROM IT) is a violation of intellectual property rights.
There is NEVER an excuse for using someone else's assets without permission. EVER.
Also (for US people) there is no "fair use" doctrine as some claim.

That would make sense... if it wasn't for the fact that F95 IS NOT A PIRATE FORUM.
It is a forum for people who love adult games, first and foremost. And at least half of ths games here are NOT pirated.

I am well aware of the legal ramifications of distributing copyrighted material, but thanks for the lecture.
My statement was about what I find morally acceptable, not what you are legally allowed to do.

No, *You're* mistaken. F95 IS a pirate forum first and foremost.
The fact that many of us devs decide to hang in here is because it's convenient. Since most of our games are free, anyway, this acts as semi-official support forum and contact point between us and the players.
But nobody here is under the impression, except you apparently, that this isn't a pirate forum. Hell, we can't even delete our own games if they're leaked and shit. We just have to make do.
