just came across this game for the first time, and it's really sweet, especially compared to all the other stuff i've played. might just be me though, but i kinda like the remake art. from what i've seen, it looks very cutesy and i like that a lot, though maybe not quite as hot if thats the right word

Help me, i cant use Flamethrower or Dragon Buster ( it said touching while holding shift key but when i hold shift the monster detail board go and i cant touching the monster). I stuck in here

Prolly wayy too late of a response, but in case anyone else has this problem:
I fixed it by going to system settings from menu, chaning "key repeat rate" to "1 - slowest". Then hold shift and walk up to the dragon.

not necessary - just press the button in question once, and then again (keep pressed), combined with direction to monster and BOOM
(gamepad, should work the same on keyboard)

idk.... its 9/63 also google are vba are popular among 9 of them....
so maybe play it on a windows emulator or something to be safe?

Unfortunately it was giving me the missing png error with sandboxie so i tried messing around with it and mistakenly launched it.

Well i did check it with Malwarebytes and Avast immediately after downloading and got nothing.

Also ran scans and got nothing. Hopefully i'm just being paranoid.

Look at those results on virustotal :
9 positive: unknown scanners + google (LOL, probably sth. "AI"), each one detects something altogether different than any other one.
negative: ESET, Kaspersky, ... you name anything respectable, it is on the negative side. Even Bitdefender detects nothing.

I d/l from here and played the fantranslated version on various computers over the time, and tested the remake and the re-remake on this notebok, never anything suspicious.

You play the game with japanese locale because if i recall its wolfrpg engine. Either that or play the inferior official version(translation and cg censorship wise) which is a port made in a diferent engine.

Thanks for sharing! I went through the entire Steam release without realizing how different it was from the original version. Luckily it's a good enough game for a second playthrough.

Have you tried to launch the game in a locale emulator? This often happens with Wolf RPG games.

but that what the red dragon has there is not the WolfRPG version, and Japanese locale seems to be in use - the error mesage is in Japanese just fine.

only working solution I know is switching to the old-but-gold WolfRPG version.
bonus: It looks better, has more text - which is well-written and well-translated, and even has a (normal-mode) guide within the download.

Not sure if this is your exact issue, but I was having a similar-looking issue with the unofficial translation version. Took me a while to figure it out but I was able to get locale emulator fully working by going to where you'd normally switch locale, and disabling the setting "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support"
