Hey guys,

To whoever feels inclined to leak the game, please reconsider. I work on this game for five hours at least per day for two to three months for each update. I rely on the income from the early releases to make doing this worth it. If it gets leaked the second day, I lose a ton of money. If I don't make a certain amount each release cycle I can't justify the time and resources it takes to make this game. So please don't leak any links. I'll give the links to the OP when it is ready and it will be the latest version with all bug fixes and revisions, so it's best to wait for that version anyway. I understand the appeal of making others happy, I get it. But doing so really affects my ability to continue making this game.

Thanks,
Bobby

money losses can be disputed. but the fact that the developed one loses the pace of continuing development, that is a fact. may lead to the project being abandoned. do you want this to happen with the project? so we are waiting for a free version and we will be glad that there is one at all.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. If Bobbyboy's development of the East Block absolutely hinges on Patreon money, then I have some bad news for everyone.

It's simply not viable to expect to make a living from making AVNs, not at this point in time.

Also, continuously expanding the scope of the project with each update - then complaining about not being able to sustain such a scope without ever-growing financial support is just being financially irresponsible.

You have to play with the cards you are dealt with, not the ones left in the deck.

Nothing wrong with wanting a return on investment of time and probably money (for buying assets and such).

I hope Bobby considers the long-term and eventually puts the game on Steam. That's where you'll get more of a return on investment.

I understand what you're saying. What I'm attempting with that post I made earlier is to ask for potential leakers to at least wait a few days so that I can make a few bucks. No one owes me anything and you're right, I knew what I was signing up for. I'm just hoping people might think twice and choose to be a hero to me, at least for a few days.
