I'm not a fan of the scene either, but it could be consistent with my theory about the drug's effects. In this instance (while sober), her desire to please a guy who she greatly valued overpowered her usual inhibitions about engaging in the sexual behavior she did. So if Kathryn has a natural inclination to want to please men with whom she feels a close connection (like a partner) even when it comes to sex, exposure to the drug may amplify this aspect to where she is even willing to do things for Luke's satisfaction/sexual excitement that she normally would not do.Well, according to Kathryn, she's loved Tommy's music since her early teens and claims to be his #1 fan. When he says if she don't help him, his tour will be cancelled and possibly end his career. So, Kathryn feels she couldn't live with the thought of that happening when she can help. Even though things become intense, Kathryn doesn't want to let Tommy down. But yeah, chance of a lifetime.
