Another issue I have with it is that she comes across as quite naive and inexperienced early on in the game, but then there are two flashbacks that would argue a bit against that. This one heavily so, the other one not so much because it didn't go as far and circumstances were different (I think she was a bit drunk?). I just don't see any way to make this groupie flashback fit the narrative of the game. I think it was pretty much just there to provide a story she could tell Clem (and as far as the viewer goes, to provide a lewd scene that would maybe act as a prelude to scenes potentially to come later in the game).

Is it also a little weird that you have a degree of control over a flashback, choosing how far things go, by way of how drunk you allow the MC to get? I usually think of flashbacks as "canon" - they are basically kinetic, with the outcome already decided (because they've already happened in the past...).
yeah it was weird, and I personally disliked it. Regardless of choices. Again, that's just my view.

This was another point I picked up in my review - the game has far too much choice. While I do appreciate choice, its gets to a point where you've been pushing a path for so long that the choice shouldn't be there. Obviously I get the point of them; it allows us to choose our content. But there are better ways to do it, and in terms of a flashback, it's got a purpose and is showing us something; there definitely needs to be no choice there.
Obviously you get the visuals to accompany the story, but that's absolutely a new head-canon to take on. If it were made up just to not look inexperienced in front of Clem, you would still see the visuals while she told the story. Going forward, this is what happened as far as I'm concerned
I know all that. Do you think scene was realistic though? Is her behavior and inner monologue a rational one, or does the scene portray her as a doe-eyed fool (in the lights of her being 18+ years old)?

same which is why I only play that scene on my other saves and not my main path cause I do think it's hot but the context behind it I hate
Rational decision? Probably not. Naive at the point of neglecting her first date? Maybe. But, a chance to help someone famous she admired for years. I think that outways the consequences of her willingness to help.
