Please elaborate - I thought the idol scene was too short and irrational to make the viewer understand her reasoning for going through with it.
In my humble opinion, I don't like the glory hole scene with so many people. We've gone from a shy Kathryn with doubts about doing something with other men and even wanting to ask Luke first, to sucking a bunch of cocks and swallowing 2 liters of semen. I think it's been a transition that's too quick and abrupt, it's just a personal opinion.

I mostly liked it because of why you disliked it cause usually I find glory hole scenes bland and boring but the way it was done for me was fun , hot and exciting.

Well, according to Kathryn, she's loved Tommy's music since her early teens and claims to be his #1 fan. When he says if she don't help him, his tour will be cancelled and possibly end his career. So, Kathryn feels she couldn't live with the thought of that happening when she can help. Even though things become intense, Kathryn doesn't want to let Tommy down. But yeah, chance of a lifetime.

Yeah I hate the flashback scene too while the scene is hot for the lewdness I hate it because it makes Kathryn out to be some kind of girl that cheats rather easily where we know that isn't true and on a first date to boot which makes it even worst to me.

yep, I have mixed feelings, coz the scene is kinda hot, but on the other hand yeah, she is kinda cheating, which I dislike.

It felt too out of place for me, like it wasn't Kathryn but some odd facsimile of Kathryn. I could believe it in the current circumstances, with the horny drug, but this was way before any of that, so it was just odd.

I'm not a fan of the scene either, but it could be consistent with my theory about the drug's effects. In this instance (while sober), her desire to please a guy who she greatly valued overpowered her usual inhibitions about engaging in the sexual behavior she did. So if Kathryn has a natural inclination to want to please men with whom she feels a close connection (like a partner) even when it comes to sex, exposure to the drug may amplify this aspect to where she is even willing to do things for Luke's satisfaction/sexual excitement that she normally would not do.

Maybe by going through the old ugly roadies is what corrupted her enough to be ok with filthy flasher and the other rapist and old geezers

Another issue I have with it is that she comes across as quite naive and inexperienced early on in the game, but then there are two flashbacks that would argue a bit against that. This one heavily so, the other one not so much because it didn't go as far and circumstances were different (I think she was a bit drunk?). I just don't see any way to make this groupie flashback fit the narrative of the game. I think it was pretty much just there to provide a story she could tell Clem (and as far as the viewer goes, to provide a lewd scene that would maybe act as a prelude to scenes potentially to come later in the game).

Is it also a little weird that you have a degree of control over a flashback, choosing how far things go, by way of how drunk you allow the MC to get? I usually think of flashbacks as "canon" - they are basically kinetic, with the outcome already decided (because they've already happened in the past...).

yeah it was weird, and I personally disliked it. Regardless of choices. Again, that's just my view.

id have to replay the scene so I forget the context of that convo but this reply of yours make me wonder could it been a lie to just tell Clem something? or at least she exaggerated the truth to some degree.

This was another point I picked up in my review - the game has far too much choice. While I do appreciate choice, its gets to a point where you've been pushing a path for so long that the choice shouldn't be there. Obviously I get the point of them; it allows us to choose our content. But there are better ways to do it, and in terms of a flashback, it's got a purpose and is showing us something; there definitely needs to be no choice there.
