Plot progresses slowly because updates are so slow and lame. Developers start with updates every other month then start with 4 or 5 into 6 and 7 or more. When it gets time when action has to start, either work or medical issues start happening. A guy on here has an ai based game and puts out updates twice a month
That's silly, why would someone deliberately delay updates just because the 'action' was about to start? There's plenty of more mundane reasons to explain the delay, without succumbing to ridiculous conspiracy theories

For people who haven't contributed a single euro on Patreon, you'd better wait until November. It's sad but that's the way it is.

No, they don't and you obviously know very little about either.

Regardless...what does it matter how long it takes unless you're paying for it? Today, tomorrow, next week, abandoned next month....doesn't affect anyone's life here in the slightest. It's an AVN....not lif e or death.
You might think its life or death for some. Good grief. The pangs of desperation are real.

Hey guys, it's time for this week's dev log
Development is still ongoing and it's slowly coming together. I had to make a ton of changes and redo so much for this update and honestly I hate that so much work went to waste earlier in development. If everything had gone the way I envisioned, this update probably would have been out around the middle of last month. For some reason my workflow and vision just didn’t line up this time and I ended up doing a lot of work on things that just weren’t good. That’s one of the downsides of doing everything yourself, there’s no one else to look at things while you’re working and point you in the right direction.
I know you all hate to hear it but we’re still a couple weeks out from the first release. There’s still a lot I need to redo for a few scenes. The good thing is that everything’s coded and functional, it’s just the visuals that need work. I hope you’ll all be patient while I get everything looking the way I want it to and how I originally pictured it. The bright side is that, as always, I’ve learned a lot from this dev cycle and that’s going to help me avoid a lot of the mistakes I made this time around.
Also just a quick reminder, if your membership is ending this month and you don’t plan to renew, send me a message with your email and I’ll make sure you get the links for your tier when the update is ready. I already have a list of people who’ve asked so far so don’t hesitate to reach out if you want to be added.
One other quick thing I wanted to mention, Steam recently updated its policy for adult games and now requires that games be fully complete before they can be submitted. Early Access isn’t allowed anymore for that category. Because of that, or unless things change, the Steam release for The East Block is now planned for fall 2026. The good news is that it’ll be a complete and polished release with achievements, DLC and lots of extra features and bonus content. A lot of that stuff already exists, we just have to wait until all the chapters are done before submitting. I just wanted to mention that for anyone who was looking forward to the Steam release.
Anyway, that’s just a quick update so I can get back to work. Here are a few screenshots to enjoy for now. Thanks again for all your patience and support

hmmmm Bobby estimating Fall 2026 for Steam / the game to be completed somehow I get the feeling gonna be a bit longer than that. As wasn't there 11 or 12 chapters planned? Then Steam takes awhile to do.
