my personal opinion is wow... the animations are really nice bring more reality to the game... the differences on the characters are not too much and sometimes are also better (like kat wet) maybe a little fix like the possibility to skip, i would love to see them also in the previews updates. the fact of cheating is ok but as other people said yeah wasn't 100% necessary considering what happened before... now i'm expecting something really big happening in the next update. really nice update this one, is a big step forward
dude this isnt an fmc game, stop trying to turn it into that - because that's exactly what you're describing. Go find an FMC game to play, there's thousands of them on the site.
It is a game with obviously changing MCs and that let's you take choices and routes, so it can be the kind of game you want to play. If you can't live with that, than this is your problem. Let me play it the way I like, I do not complain about your style either.

id only agree with animation bit because I like it when I see non sex animations yeah they may be AI and not everyone likes that but it's the only time i'm okay with AI as usually that be a waste of dev time for most dev's and not worth making the animation by hand. Plus for me most of them didn't look horrible to me but that could be cause of the viewing distance between my TV and bed lol. Not sure cause I feel im one of the few that didn't think they looked horrible outside of some of them

Just ignore the negative trolls. Nothing he says matters anyway and the best thing to do is simply ignore people like that on here because they have nothing better to do. As long as you enjoy the VN that is all that matters.

It's just that. Taking the easy way out. They think it's a way to enhance their games without actually doing any more work. It's not. Most of the animations look like shit.
And they realize this. They have eyes. They just don't care. Now they get to claim that their games have animations. This guy's calling them "full-motion videos" lol. Ooh, so fancy! Their perceived quality and value goes up. Supporters tolerate the slop, so their bottom line remains unaffected. There are no downsides. That's why everyone's doing it.

I enjoyed The East Block Chapter 8 very much and BobbyBoy Productions did a great job overall. Are there some hiccups and minor issues, yes, but they are exactly that... MINOR and yet some folks and trolls on here blew it way out of proportion. The majority of scenes were hot and pleasant to watch and it was good overall, and while only a few scenes with Kathryn appearing with lingerie in the apartment shows some anomalies, it still came out fine in the end, especially the scene with her and Franklin. That was very hot. ;-)
As long as people enjoy The East Block Chapter 8, that is all that matters. Just ignore the negative noise and trolls.

That whole situation with Pat really felt like no matter what, the game wants Luke to think Kathryn cheated on him going forward. Oh you're on the pure path or doing sharing as a couple? Well even if she didn't fuck Pat, Luke will now think she did.
There really should have been an option to leave with Luke(because what loving girlfriend wouldn't) but then thats skipping an entire sequence that's like 20+min long and the dev doesnt want you to miss that so oh well. Previously, you almost always had an option not to engage with a situation you didn't like. But not here though. Kathryn loses all agency, which is saying a lot since she was already an airhead that kept getting herself into bad situations.
I never considered this game very good in the writing department, but at least when it came to the situations, you usually had an out if you didn't like where it was going. I think that's the biggest issue and it resulted in forcing an NTR feeling situation on everyone regardless of what sort of route they are on. For that entire sequence, from the start at the restaurant to the motel, you don't get a single choice as Luke or Kathryn and you're first choice is a Pat choice...

man I didn't even consider the trip could be in the next update as it feels too soon to me but man now I hope it isn't. Especially cause it suppose to be for 10 days I kind of got a gut feeling it could be part of the final update or updates after all the crime shit cause of the length of it. But now im not so sure

I totally understand where you're coming from, but let's not assume what is planned for Chapter 9 and how things will eventually turn out. I believe it will all work out in a way that everyone will enjoy and appreciate, at least I hope. ;-)

I hope Pat gets kathryn pregnant and she keeps it secret . Good update tho i dont think it took 6 months. I subscribed four months, not gonna sub again until i get an update in 3 months or so.

I have spent more on this than any other avn I'm allowed to have my own thoughts. Why did Kath not leave with Luke?
There was not a single scene for me to enjoy and honestly it upsets me so much I thought about punching my wall and hurting myself.

That would make zero sense since Luke hates his father. Pat can fuck off and tbh after Kath staying with him instead of leaving with Luke after their argument, she can as well.

I hear you and respect where your coming from Joshy. I never said all who complain are trolls. There are folks on here that share their feedback (good or bad) in a constructive and respectful way, but trolls are the complete opposite and only care for attention and just spread negative BS. It's okay to disagree on things but there is no need to attack the Dev and his work. I enjoyed The East Block Chapter 8 very much, but to each their own.
