Every time I think about this new update, the situation just seems to get worse. The developer simply ruined Kat, completely destroying her personality. This is even more shocking because he himself had previously stated that she didn't have the character or disposition to betray Luke.

The only conclusion I can come up with is that he must be getting very well paid to implement this utterly bizarre NTR route. It's as if he sold out, abandoning the fans who have been here since the beginning, who are invested in the characters and their adventure.

The logical solution, which would make ten times more sense, would be to simply add the option for Kat to leave with us. It doesn't seem that difficult to implement! Her staying with Pat is completely incoherent, considering Luke hates him and doesn't want to have any relationship with him.

It's sad to see the horrible choices made in this update. The game, which was so good, has now become just another generic and bad NTR game. I repeat my belief that he must be profiting heavily to make this change.

And what good is it for him to say he might only change it later on? This ruined the game now. Without an immediate fix, many fans will give up playing.

He hired someone to help, so it would take almost no time to make a simple change, adding the option for her to leave together. That would save the update!

It's a huge shame. I genuinely just want to understand what went through his mind to ruin such a good character as Kat, who was easily one of the best FMC in this genre of game.

Yep, her character was damaged big time this update. I get if Luke cheated then yes have her stay with Pat but I've been faithful all playthrough even though it means I missed a huge chunk of Chapter seven and this is how I get rewarded?

And that whole ending scene loses its impact if we don't cheat, so why is it there for sharing players? It doesn't make sense. Unless he didn't want to delay the update anymore because people were getting salty but still.

Kat and Pat's meeting and the sex scene were great.
Just having content featuring the MC's father with Kathryn has already made it my favorite. It's still early, but I'm already rooting for a happy ending between them. I'm excited for more family betrayals. Unfortunately, there are still very few NTS/NTR games with a father stealing the protagonist's girlfriend/wife.

My perception is that the developer will increasingly focus on the NTR route. This is likely due to it being the path that generates the most money. Now that he hired someone to help, he needs more revenue, and he is opting for the easiest way to earn it, transforming a game that was excellent into an "NTR piece of garbage."

Regarding Kat, in the route where she betrays Luke, I believe she will remain silent, continuing the betrayal behind his back. This is something that, up until one update ago, would have made no sense for her character, but the developer has simply thrown that coherence away.

In the other route, where she did nothing, the situation is also disheartening: I believe Luke won't trust her. He will always suspect she did something, especially when she mentions they slept in the same motel room. The distrust will be intensified by the fact that Luke knows his father desires Kat.

The developer was desperate to give us a reason not to complain about Kat's actions in this update. However, for those who have always remained faithful (to Luke), this makes no sense, just like this entire ridiculous update.

It is seriously disappointing. I don't see how the next update can be good without the changes that so many fans are asking for.

Or maybe, and this is the darkest part, this is exactly what he wants: for their relationship to deteriorate more and more. With Kat thinking Luke betrayed her and Luke thinking she slept with his father, the relationship is likely to end, as she told Pat that she "might come back single from vacation." Why would he include that dialogue if he wasn't thinking of bringing their relationship to an end?

What makes me the most furious is that he thinks he doesn't need to change this now, and intends to make this alteration only late in the game. He must have seen the number of people asking for this fix, and it would not be a big deal to implement it. He is killing his own game and still maintains this decision, even with fans trying to help him undo this mess he created.

She also seems to make out like things have been bad between them, for some reason?

man now I hate that scene even more cause if that is forced. This might as well be a FMC to me i'm gonna keep playing Because of Kathryn despite hating this update the more I think about it. If that happens I probably won't bother finishing it even just for Kathryn even if they can get back together.

I am mostly happy with this game, but it misses some good opportunities.
I am really disappointed the game didn't go one step further in the beach toilet scene.

Yeah I feel that tho I kind have a odd way of seeing the positive in things where there is none even when a dev fucks up like this. How I look at it is this. I enjoyed the game for Kathryn because for me she is a perfect girlfriend even if she does some dumb or questionable things. While the scene where she acts very much out of character , forget how bad and forced the cheating scene as that is another weird and out of character moment imo.

While that scene has ruined Kathryn for alot of people it has not for me and I can still enjoy the game for her even tho I hate everything about that scene and it's shame cause the way she is dressed up is so perfect. But anyways why it has not ruined Kathryn for me unlike others. I put myself in Kathryn's shoes. If it was me Luke telling her to stay and he needs some time alone would put me in a awkward situation. Leaving would feel right but I would want to give Luke some space to calm down and think , especially cause im a introvert and try my best to avoid making people angry or conflict. Staying with Path would feel wrong too , only way I would consider it is if I had no money on me. Because I think what I would choose to do if I was Kathryn leave but not with Luke so he can be alone and have some space , but get a taxi or something after 10 - 15 min.

I think unless Bobby changes his horrible scene id only ever pick the option in chapter 7 for Pat and Kat to go alone. At least that way the scene doesn't play out so badly for me.
