What I get from this poll is that the TEB fanbase is rather equally split between NTR/NTS content - favoring NTS.

Only a fool would read this to mean NTR plotline should get more attention going forward.

In any case, this update still hasn’t justified its 6-month development time:

• Using AI animations for the first time? Don't cram it incessantly whenever you can; focus on polishing a few of them to perfection.
• Only 2 NTR scenes, one which is a full-blown sex scene and other light-penetration.

Well when he starts the game by saying on here how Kath wouldn't cheat because "It would be against her character" but then caves to financial pressure just shows that you can't trust what he says. Calling all NTS/sharing fans "freeloaders" is a real fucking stretch. Just because they are outnumbered on Patreon, they should be ignored?
Besides it's not the addition of NTR/cheating options that many of us object to, we all figured it was coming. It's the forced drama and the lack of any NTS/sharing options in this update.

I agree with all the folks upset with the update (even more so if they actually paid for it), but look at it this way, if the dev is really only driven by financial pressure (I don't think that's the case btw), the solution is easy... everyone who disliked the update can unsubscribe until after the next update.

That would mean a what? 25-30% loss in monthly revenue? That's quite hard to sustain.

I personally have no horse in this race (read: didn't pay), so what I'll do is I'll simply avoid this AVN for a while, but one can't blame a dev for trying to make more money, so long as they are aware that's a double-edged sword at times.

For everybody screaming "cheating isn't in character for Kathryn, even dev said so", did you ever have Luke get drunk during Kathryn's flashback to their first date?
She (optionaly) literally cheats on Luke on their first date, with him in the next room. Then afterwards has the audacity to say she's loved him for a while.
Cheating is very much within her nature, and this update wasn't the first option she had for it.

Obviously, the update was still horrible character writing on account of Luke, Kathryn and Pat with textbook soap opera drama writing.
Chery on top is the adamant refusal to include any NTS scenes, even though plenty of setup was there. Nate, Franklin, hell, you could even argue dancing with Pat could have been used to lead into an NTS relatiosnhip between the three of them. That would still have been more congruent with the rest of the story than what we actually got.

I liked the update. However the dad cheating scene could have been executed a bit better. It was all passionate and chemistry. It should have continued with the same chemistry and then suddenly boom masturbation and straight up porn. It could have had more foreplay and passion before the actual sex. But nah "invite to bed" and "lets fuck".

Another reason why polls suck, this shit always happens. So because NTR/cheating fans have deep pockets then the entire plot and premise of the game and Kathryn's character needs to be changed to fit?

The poll itself isn’t the problem. The game is meant to be choicebased, so whether you’re into NTR, NTS, or a pure path, everyone is supposed to get their fill. Players make their own choices, mold the couple’s relationship, and face the consequences. The real issue is the character assassination and lack of options.

If we had just one choice, like letting Kath leave with the MC or at least side with him if their relationship is strong during the restaurant segment, it would have fixed things. And then there’s the drama, which feels overly convoluted and like it’s trying too hard.

I have no issue with the dev prioritizing NTR or Kathryn cheating if that's what the supporters are paying him for. It's not my thing, but I'm not giving him my money. And it's not like this is the first time that the game has included unavoidable content and writing that didn't make much sense (from Kathryn's first meeting with Nate jogging in the park, to the warehouse photo shoot, right up to the beach trip in the last release).

But if the writing isn't getting better, the protagonists are getting less likable, and the visuals are getting worse, all in all that's not a great sign.

The updates storyline is drama for drama´s sake with unavoidable NTR. WTF? We saw Luke for 7 chapters coming to grips with his sharing/swinging fetish, now he wants nothing to do with it any longer so the NTR fanbois can wank. Hardcoded even.
"Perfect", another example how the poison touch of NTR taints character development and story, wherever it pops up. And it took over half a year to produce this stuff farmers bring out onto the fields. Unwatched!

Isn't it obvious what happened?

Bobby wrote the ending of Chapter 8 as is on purpose, to converge all the paths into a singular point as a form of a soft reset and make it easier on him to write future scripts.

A terrible move in the end, and a hallmark of weak writing when you have to force the story into "this" box so you can continue it.

That's all it comes down to, I guarantee it.
