Good thing gonna redo my main save so that path won't be part of my main save. To me gonna just pretend it doesn't exist and Luke staying at home is default
Same here. It's a bit disappointing, though, that to keep the game on path for you that you have to opt out of content that you should be following.

Since Luke understands what a jerk his father is, you would expect him to accompany Kath on their "outing", especially with all the "horny drug" business going on. It's not a matter of distrusting Kath; it's a matter of understanding Pat.

You basically have to make the character do something out of character to keep the game on track. If you wanted Kath to betray Luke you would have done that before this and, frankly, you wouldn't care about what we're discussing here...

I get that Bobby is showing that Luke still has some inner conflict over the whole thing, but how long are we going to keep doing this?
I expect he'll keep chalking it up to the "horny drug" involvement. Honestly, I stopped seeing that as a plot point some time ago and now view it as a means to simply force some content the developer wants to move this to his desired centerline.

The only reason why that I can think of is that Bobby was determined for NTR fans to eat well this update and that was his main concern.
I kind of think that, too. I understand he wanted to introduce conflict into the Luke-Kath relationship but I believe it was a mistake to use a lightning-rod topic like forced cheating. The dev can add as much NTR content as he wants to satisfy the NTR crowd without making it mandatory for the rest of us (and most non-NTR fans should not complain about that).

For me, this disappointment was less about the NTR and more about forced content that contradicted earlier choices. It's a little insane that the only way to keep the game on path for some players is to avoid playing the game (i.e., Luke stays home and allows his girlfriend basically to date a serial sex offender alone).

Little by little, I've realized I'm not the target audience here :sneaky:
You're not alone on that island. We'll see what Ch. 9 brings. For me, at least, the dev has a lot of 'splaining to do.

It's just some bug and grammar fixes.
To call it a bug fix, Bobby would have to rework most choices of this deeply disappointing update. But then again, what else could be expected from an update catering to the NTR crowd? See the quote below.

There was no need for the Franklin scene to also be an NTR one, as has been spoken about here many times. Kat should be well aware by now that her doing stuff with other guys turns Luke on, no need to keep it a secret. She could have told Luke as soon as Nate left and then it could have easily been turned into a possible sharing scene IMO.
The only reason why that I can think of is that Bobby was determined for NTR fans to eat well this update and that was his main concern.
You could say it was his only concern, given how out of character most persons acted. Even an bonafide a... like Nate. In earlier chapters he even liked Luke a bit (which did not hinder him to lust after Kathryn) and was halfway friendly. This chapter he went complete as... with laughable reasons and then became a voyeur too.
