Played Ch.8 a couple times now (both with Luke and w/o Luke going dancing). A few technical issues (saves didn't always work, some wording errors), but the story was able to playthrough with alot of fun animations. In regards the story and the scenes, let's just say Kat rewards a job well done, Franklin has a promiscious past, Rebecca fits right in with her new company, Albert is easily persuaded and Kat can really dance until the late night hours. Overall, another solid update with Ch.9 looking like some tough conversations will need to be had, a trip overseas and Dominic still believing in "destiny". Also, I didn't get to be a tester twice by throwing $50 /m at the dev, I've been a sub since the beginning ($8 tiers w/ occasional $16). It's added up and by no means broke the bank (it's equivalent to a fast food meal). That said, I hope all the subs enjoy the new update when their tier is rewarded and no need to be a "hero" to anyone who's mocked you for your contributions and your free will to support. Enjoy!!!

The East Block Chapter 8 is epic hot, entertaining and overall very well done. The image you posted is just one of several hot scenes in the latest update. This VN was worth the wait folks. The East Block goes beyond the typical norm of other VNs and that is what makes it unique and stand out among the rest. Bobby did a great job in Chapter 8 and this opens up many exciting paths for Chapter 9 and beyond. On the story:
Kathryn and Luke are just awesome and bring the story to life. It is indeed another solid update for sure.
On game saves: Although the name save feature itself does not always work correctly, the game save does work. You simply need to click on
Ok and just skip naming the save and it works fine. This happens in many RenPy VN games but it doesn't mean it doesn't work. At least on my end it works fine. Also, there are some minor wording errors, but luckily no major bugs or problems. It was a pretty smooth and entertaining experience, and previous saves from Chapter 7 work fine as well. Bobbyboy Productions did a well rounded awesome job with Chapter 8. Great update!
On Support: I been a supporter since The East Block came out and I'm happy to continue doing so as I do with other VNs that I like. The fact that the Dev / Creator Bobbyboy Productions doesn't compromise the quality of his work for anyone and does a well rounded job despite the challenges he has dealt with, I am more than happy to give my support and will do so for as long as The East Block VN continues.
As for any Trolls posting negative BS on this thread, save it already because no one cares. It is funny to see how trolls on here complain for no good reason because they are waiting for the free version to become available and that's not happening fast enough for them lol. Just give it a rest already, Trolls. You will all get a chance to experience The East Block Chapter 8 soon enough, and it's another well done hot update, too! I wouldn't be surprised if some of these negative trolls are just jealous VN creators lol. So just chill out Trolls and enjoy other VNs while you're waiting! ;-)
The bottom line, we should all appreciate hard working Devs that create good VNs that are hot and entertaining, which many people on here eventually get to experience for free, and we should always be mindful and considerate and understand that without giving the Devs support for their creative works we would not experience any of this good stuff. Without Devs / Creators that make VNs and related content many platforms, including F95Zone wouldn't be around, so we should be thankful these VNs exist to entertain us. This is just one of many reasons to give Support to your favorite VN - Devs / Creators. Also, it is important to give support to Devs / Creators we like to help them create the VNs we enjoy, even when things get delayed when it comes to updates, especially when Devs are limited or face unexpected challenges. However,
no one is forced or obligated to give financial support, but if we want to see awesome, hot and entertaining VN works like The East Block, then I recommend for people to give their support to Devs / Creators they like and appreciate, or simply show your appreciation without giving financial support by giving a good review and sharing your experience.
On a final note, Bobbyboy Productions appreciates all fans, supporters, and non-supporters as well, and when he delivers an update it is always good. That in itself is rare in the VN world, and soon many will get to experience the new epic hot update of
