Then it goes from a couple exploring and having adventures together, to a return to form for Kathryn.

All that everyone has to do is make the choice, multiple times, in the motel room for Kathryn to not go down the cheating path, like in tons of other AVN's that give you a choice to stay faithful or not.

Are you choosing to not understand what we are saying on purpose or? It's not the NTR or the choice of going through with the cheating that's the issue. It's the absence of any NTS content in a game that was previously only NTS or Loyal. Also the forced drama that makes zero sense if you have played a loyal Luke.

Is it possible that the new version 0.8.3 toned down the three-way dancing? I replayed completely again, and Luke was faithful (no groping of Kathryn's mother, no blowjob in the bathroom, no Clementine, nothing on the beach,no flirts with other girls etc.).

Now they dance total calm and loving glances, forehead to forehead.
After the dance at the table he and Pat shortly before the argument…
She calmed him down with a phrase like, "Are you starting again?"
Then he said, ok i leave,total calm,friendly,smiling and said to her „we see us later.“
Have a nice day.appropriately…

With them declaring their love shortly after. I don't think there is really a compelling story to tell there. Instead, it just sounds like Tony said, a way to tell a story about Kathryn in her slutty college days

It's nothing to do with NTS or anything like that - I just dont think there is a compelling story to tell about Luke and Kathryn before what happened here in this game - individually, there might be. Like a game about Kathryn at college with the end goal being meeting and getting with Luke. But just a slice of life game dealing with there dates etc? that be pretty boring.

Wait seriously? I know that there's a version, which was the first version that I played where everything is fine when Kat and Luke dance. But then Pat says something that triggers Luke again, Kat tells them both off. But then says to Luke "If you can't get along with your Dad you may as well just leave." then Luke calls her bluff and says "Ok then I'll leave" Kat tries to stop him but he ultimately leaves. Is this the version you are talking about?

I think expecting people in the porn space not to be money focused is the issue. If they weren't why are they remotely near smut? It's a space for Sasha Greys and Elsa Jeans, not Agatha Christies.

Very few people enter porn out of a deep seated artistic desire. They enter it to make money. For a writer or developer usually because their talent sits them in a space where they would earn pennies or less than pennies in the mainstream. Where as in AVNs their talent level may provide an income they can actually live off or even get them rich if they're good. It's why so many are willing to bend backwards for Patreon or a Steam release. That's not even a criticism from me, every fucker has bills to pay and starving artist is noble for everyone but the actual artist.

We need to stop pretending porn devs are some auteurs grinding for the love of their creation. They're not writing stuff like a girl sucking a homeless man off while her BF claps like a seal, a wife been cratered by bbc, a college woman been gangbanged, a woman sucking off a rottweiler or a mom sucking her son off for the love of art or a creative vision. They're doing it to get paid. If AVN's wern't a money focused space you wouldn't see so many abandoned, milkers, drip fed updates, content changes etc. If their original vision pays of they'll stick to it, if it becomes more profitable to tweak or pivot they will. Players are far more invested in these stories and characters than most of the devs.

While I doubt many artists get into creating porn for purely artistic reasons. There are some (a few) truly talented artists involved in porn making. Had they been painting or sculpting their work could rival even the greatest masters. After all the focus of most painters and sculptors is the human body, the same as those making porn.

I don't begrudge this developer his writing as he does to earn money. As I wrote before, when a developer offers a choice, that choice should be meaningful with the game's path and outcome. Good developers write "games" where choices matter instead of "stories" where choices are overridden by forced content. This is what bothers me about a "game" I was following. It's becoming a "story" now, instead.

eh id still consider this a masterpiece when it comes to a sharing game but everyone is different. However not for the story rare to find any sharing or NTR game that doesn't have some major issues with the story or it's there as an after thought. Tho I didn't hate the AI in this one cause ive seen games that used the AI in ways I found worst still don't love the AI but it's tolerable for me.

We each see things differently and that's ok, but for me sharing/swinging are founded upon the couple respecting each other's boundaries; the "trust" is how this works.

I see cheating as breaking boundaries and breaking trust. I don't understand how you can have an actual sharing/swinging relationship if you don't trust your partner. And choosing (remember, KLath chose to do this) to betray your partner with the one person on earth who will hurt your partner the most? This seems both deliberate and nearly premeditated. I no longer care to know, "why;" the relationship is dead and she killed it. Time to move on.

To me the cheating broke the sharing and now they are just two people who used to shag each other. Perhaps the developer will force us to continue to allow it. If the developer will allow the reader to break the couple apart, that likely will be what I will do and then Kath can do whomever she wants and those who want to can watch her do busloads of men at once for all I care. Once she cheats, she's dead to me and so is the former relationship. But I'm not hopeful this will be an option for me.

Either way, I don't see this as a game any longer. It's a story now.
