Now I don't know who to support, whether to be Team Pat or Team Albert. It's a very difficult decision.
Here is another thing to ponder about the new update. How long does a woman normally wait/keep quiet after she has seen her boyfriend grope her mothers ass. Plus suspects them of having sex in the bathroom.

Okie dokie. Whatever floats your boat. The various complaints shifted from poster to poster. There was some pretty hyperbolic statements by some regarding the update calling the Dev “trash” etc. I don’t recall writing a line item refutation of each. I was making a general point that I did not see what the big deal was because of MY play through with the game. That is subjective. Regardless, I tried to disengage from the conversation marking it down as a simply a difference of opinion and/or play experience. You seem intent, however, to want to be right and have me acknowledge some truth. You know, because I don’t understand this or that. At this point I don’t give a flying fuck. Interpret it however you want, it’s a fucking Adult VN.

that's a matter of perspective. For this game to me she is even compared to some other FMC games out there id say she is too. But like the someone else said it was clearly a Star Wars Joke

I'm not saying that you should respond to absolutely everything, what I'm saying is that you have been responding to individual complaints by arguing something that wasn't complained about. The prime example being where people said they didn't like the way Kathryn ended up alone with Pat as it didn't sit right against what had gone before on certain paths, and your response was basically "boo hoo, next time we'll get to her ask Luke's permission to take a shit".
I don't care about you acknowledging some truth, I don't even know where you've got that impression from, I just think (as this post I'm replying to also shows), that you have a habit of arguing against people's comments by giving responses that are nothing to do with those comments.
For Joshy92. Maybe not the exact vision described but I still like how it turned out...

That... ...would be a good update. To make it better, Luke could kill both of them...The path where Luke hides in the hotel room closet,
quickly kills his father while Kath is in the shower,
after which he blindfolds her and fucks her until her eyes roll back and she keeps yelling,
" Pat,fuck me hard,really hard,like your son could never do it ".
After which he gives her an unconscionable feeling of guilt which later makes her cry profusely,
has suicidal tendencies,and her heart almost gives out from all the guilt..

In the Sharing Path, you should get the opportunity to get rid of her ... but I am sure Chapter 9 will be more controversial than 8

Honestly my problem is not even with Kathryn really, it's how she and Luke were written in some scenes and how the story was developed this chapter.
On my cheating Luke save where he has fucked Courtney, Kat has fucked Pat, I will forgive her, if the dev has her confess (which I doubt) after all it would be hypocritical to condemn her for what Luke himself has also done.
On my save where Luke hasn't cheated, I won't have Kat cheat either so there won't be an issue. I won't have Luke go to the restaurant, I will assume he get's the message that Kat leaves him at the motel before her phone dies. She won't cheat.
Then we go from there, see what direction Bobby is going to go in next time.

this is exactly how im planning to redo my saves at some point especially the bit about the restaurant. I may however make some back up saves just to see any dialogues changes if you do go to the restaurant with Luke
And as far as im concerned my Canon / default route Luke going to the restaurant never happened or exist for my my saves other than to see any dialogue changes

After what the developer did to us in the last update, I'm wondering if there still is an actual Loyal path (by that I mean where both parties remain loyal to each other).

I don't see why not Luke and Kathryn are loyal to each other on my main save still , since cheating is optional. As long as he doesn't include forced NTR should be easy to play and stay loyal.

Therein lies my concern. With the turn the writing took during the last update, I'm concerned about how much choice the player retains going forward.
Admittedly, I'm jaded by my experience with other games that eventually force the MC into an NTR situation then require the MC to remain in it as the humiliated cuckold. That's a fine outcome for those who enjoy that sort of thing but rarely am I ever a fan of forced content when it goes against the trend of prior decisions.

I can appreciate your quid pro quo on your cheating route; I can't help thinking that while I as a player could forgive her for cheating, I would be unwilling to remain with her any longer. The decision would have been less about the infidelity but far more about her choice of partner.
Choosing to cheat with Pat would hurt the MC more than anything else because it involved Pat; it almost would seem to me she selected Pat deliberately to inflict the most pain possible. That would be the part I would be unable to accept.
I can't imagine how the MC would want anything to do with a woman who chose to be with Pat, especially after understanding the dysfunctional relationship between those two and I as the player, if permitted, would break up with her immediately upon learning what happened. And then, of course, I would want to hunt down Pat for revenge.
