Hello.
Thanks for the explanations. I'm always glad when the devs precise their decision and better understand why and how they made it.
They characters will be available on other paths but your relationship with them changes how they see you.
E.G. If you choose Gamer as your hobby then the people at the game store will know who you are and treat you as a valuable customer but if you choose Runner as your hobby then you meet them as a person who has not had time for games and so you start with nothing in common.
I understand it's easier to interact with someone you have something in common with. But that doesn't mean something can't happen with a chance encounter. And as it's said, opposites attract.
What I wanted to know was if the paths were exclusive. Like becoming a spy for the journalist if you signed the contract or having a romance with Tom even if you're not into video games or simply having access to the gym even if you're a nerd (because a healthy life can contribute to beauty). The same between 2 dom, 2 sub, 2 crossdressers, 2 sissies...
Because a relationhip is built from the first encounter. So my idea was interacting with who we want without constraint. For example, I'm interested in Tom as an individual even if I chose runner (and more if it's possible).
Being caught by Ava is a plot point in the story but I am curious what you mean about the Melissa fantasizing. Could I ask you for a little more detail.
I know that this is just an introduction and so we go through most of it with the choices you made (like a spectator, outside character creation and the interview). Those were just some examples of events I would like to take control as a player. Meaning : do I want to be caught masturbating and have my relationship with x character being damaged or do I want to resist and do it later when I'm in the shower alone. Because that's how the relationship is supposed to evolve (by the choice of the player).
For the fantasizing of Melissa, it's when we are awoken from the nightmare by her and she is changing in blue lingerie : at some point, you have "Imagine her naked" and it increases the relationship but makes her angry (here, as a player, do I want to fantasize and ignore her or do I want to be attentive and help her).
The roaming was set so that yu couldn't see everything. I wanted to give the player the freedom of choice while also understanding that time moves forward. In previous versions there were a lot more shop events (most of which are now there for Sunday) but I changed it when I made it mandatory to see certain scenes like the cafe or to visit the Hotel/Hostel.
Ok, that's what I thought but I wanted to ask to be sure.
The gym isn't there for those that didn't chose runner while the "Geeks, Games and Gadgets" shop is available for everyone.
Speaking of the hobbies, there's a quest for the gym but not for the games shop. And it's strange that you can have the choice of runner with a small body or gamer if you chose athletic. In reality, there are plenty of athletes that play video games or nerds that have a healthy life doing some sport but it seems contradictory for the game.
Did you see that you can change clothes at your hostel room?
I am still working out a system for clothes. It knows what item of clothing (trousers or jeans) but if you take clothes off I have no system set for saved outfit yet and no way to put them back on. When I chose the clothes for day one that was easy but I need to be able to do the same for clothes the player has chosen.
The clothing system has been a headache but I will work it out.
Yeah, we can change just before leaving the house and before going to sleep at the right hostel (and not at the park). I wanted to wear the clothes I bought in the meantime before meeting Franklyn to try to have another dialog with him.
The only problem I had with the wardrobe was that it rolls up when we select something.
Also having the name of the items on the right when we have the curser of the mouse on them could become useful in the future (like what are the keys I have, to go search for the ones we need and forgot or what type of shoes I'm wearing, like sport shoes if I want to go to the gym, to change beforehand).
Male Romance content is on all paths. It is based on how high your Male Attraction is.
Beauty is just a word I am using and I wwas worried it would be taken the wrong way. The stat system is there so that Male characters need to his a certain level to pass as Women, it increases by Gender stats but also by Makeup.
For both Male and Female characters Makeup is the goal of that bar. I wanted it to be that yu can put on enough and look like a goddess or too much and look like a clown.
Ok, thanks. I just hope it'll versatile since it opens more possibilities than top or bottom only.
Beauty in itself isn't a problem. There's a masculine beauty and a feminine beauty.
What bothered me was that beauty depended on the feminine stat. I can understand it for women and crossdressers/sissies. And that means the more feminine we are, the more beautiful we are. So masculine men are bound to be ugly. And unless a male character is ready to become girly, he will never be attractive and be able to have sex with most of the other characters. Well, that's what the feminity stat means to me.
Characters is still in progress. The Moore's are the only ones present atm. Theres a system in place for unlocking more and you will see that working in the next update.
That page is becoming full very quick however and I am already looking at another way around the problem for less important relationships. But then I am trying to work out who is important.
It wasn't a reproach, just a report in case you forgot.
As for your problem, your should make a general page with links to many categories (family/relatives, close friends, friends, simple acquaintances, profesionals, coworkers, important people...), making each page less filled. Well, something like that.
Don't quote me as I would have to check but I think that "Drive to the Beat" is the only quest that you cannot complete. The other depend on choices. I was messing with the player on that quest. I knew that the player couldn't complete that quest but I wanted the player to have no idea that there car was about to break down and that they could drive Riley home.
I don't mind quests we are unable to complete as long as there's no consequences (positive or negative) in game.
Same issue with all Male actors. It is rare to find them on their own or in a full set. I use a lot of MM galleries as they have Male actors in solo scenes. But like with Rupert in the Female route, he only had one set of images. It is the same for most of them. Cody Cummings is the exception it seems.
I usually have a hard time playing as a female protagonist so I didn't try.
You can do that as long as you don't envisage something sexual with that character.
Those are just my thoughts and what I felt, hoping to help even a little.
Good continuation.
