I am mostly interested in games where the male/female mc can sexually interact with females, so I usually play straight males and lesbian females. To answer your question. It isn't a TF game where you are forced into male relationships. I wanted to cater for a large number of fetishes and desires. As I have tried to make clear in past comments. I am juggling a lot of plots to make this work and the cross over means that I am constantly trying to write for the different desires.

Someone once told me that I have taken on too much by giving all these options and I actually am starting to agree with them.

This rewrite started with adding in the Dominant path (admittedly only the Male one atm) but has grown huge as I addressed several issues. Melissa has been rewritten twice and I have been forced to delay the next release because of fixes to all the paths.

When choosing the submissive punishment path, the shown punishment porn is always maledom, not femdom or lezdom.
Shown Anal porn for male mc is always male fucking female, even for submissive or sissy males.

I think it would be less a problem for most players if the sexual encounters of (female) LIs would be with other females, preferably side-LIs, so that in sum all the sleeping around of the LIs would stay in the (future) harem. This would work for straight/bi male mcs and bi/lesbian female mcs.
Straight female and gay male mcs on the other side will not consider the sisters or other females as LIs but instead will look for attractive male NPCs to date/fuck. Those are usually ignored by many players.

Male/Female World :
You wrote above and one can see it in several places : male and female mcs get different story events at the same times and locations, e.g. for male/female there are 2 different conversations when meeting Melissa in the cafe in the afternoon. In the long run this may lead to writing 2 separate game worlds, one for male mcs and one for female mcs. If you add sub/dom differences, it may increase to 2-4 worlds ...


In general there are different approaches for the World Building :

1. One (huge) consistant world
While the mcs can have different sex, traits, kinks, etc. there is one consistent world for all mcs. The world with its locations and events is like a giant labyrinth with lots of corridors, locked doors and rooms (events). The mc starts at some point and travels through the labyrinth to explore and in search for an exit (ending). Sex, traits, kinks and former decisions decide which doors can be opened and which remain locked, leading to different events and routes (stories) for different starting choices and ingame decisions. Since one playthrough will only reveal part of the world, the player may need to play several different mcs to experience the whole world and finally reveal the big secret (if there is one). To keep the world interesting for several playthroughs, there would have to be much more events for all kind of kinks in the world than can be experienced in a single playthrough.

2. Several smaller similar worlds
Each mc gets his own small world (story) based on a basic world with small variations according to starting decisions. The worlds are much smaller and more linear, events are variations of basic events depending on mc's sex, traits, kinks, etc.
Example : the hostel scene where the roommate depends on player sex and traits : female roommate for straight male mcs, shemale for crossdresser and sissy, male roommate for female mcs.
For comparison : In the huge consistent world there would be 3 rooms with male, shemale and female to choose from, so it would allow the player to choose at that point in the game instead of using the starting selections, allthough mc's attributes would still influence if mc can romance a certain roommate or not.

Looking at the game so far, I would rather go for the One (huge) Consistant World approach.

Note :
The bug mentioned some pages ago with the Gender Transformation value is still there.
Start a new game, select sex and physical appearance, then use several times the "Stats" and "Exit Stats" buttons and Gender Transformation value is at 100%.

My guess from a distance is that you calculate the value each time a new but forget to reset it first, so that it adds to the current value until it reaches 100% or more.

Work around :
The bug can be avoided by using the Back button instead of "Exit Stats".

When mc spies on both couples (MF + FF) in the sauna, then Mercedes does not start the Quest : A Grand Opening.
The quest only starts if mc meets Tyrone Price, Casey's (BBC) Personal Trainer before.

Is that a bug?

I've always found the Dominant path the hardest to buy into with the MP backstory, unless I missed something with the Ember Institute's mind-games. And even then, I would think it would be a quick way to find one's self on the street with trying to dominate the sisters.

It is too early to say how the story will develop.

However it seems that if you are dominant and do the Ember Institute stuff and directly reject the Dream, there seem to be only minimal losses to your dominance.

On the other side if you accept the Dream, you get lots of CrossDressing points as male and your Dominance will turn into Submission over time.

Submission and Dominance in real life are actually not exclusive, they are more like different roles that can be played depending on circumstances and kinks. Otherwise it would not be possible to have Switches. So having only one stat for Submission and Dominance is a strong simplification.

I agree with you here, and its a shame the Dom path can't start with being Sub-ish till one gets a choice in the Ember Institute that locks the MP in one or the other. Maybe like the second or third trip to the Institute since we already have examples of them screwing-up (mall and store girl). But I doubt folks looking for the Dom tag would be willing to play a somewhat Sub for say 30 mins before going full Dom in the game.

Because I doubt the mother would had let the MP pass the front door if he had been a strong-willed dom from the start of the game. Besides dom him letting his secret crush drag out this long before doing something about it.

Outside simplifying some paths without cutting down your vision of the game, I don't know how to help you even a little.
I don't think you've taken too much since you seem to know where you're going but the time it takes and the corrections for consistency are starting to have an effect on you.
And don't forget, you're doing a very good job.

I quoted this specific passage because, even though I'm a bi man, I'm not interested in lesbian at all. Maybe I'm unusual but in every straight game there's an unavoidable lesbian scene and it's annoying (and if somebody is asking for a gay scene, it's poorly received and skipping the scene is mandatory...).

Otherwise, you seem really good at analysis and finding solutions.

Considering the current amount of NTR scenes in the game, it probably would be best to just add the NTR tag and place a big warning in the OP so that players are not offended by unexpected content. The story is about a (virgin) mc being thrown into a new dark world of blackmail, corruption and lewdness with lots of sexual encounters around to find and the Moore family with the main LIs (Ava, Casey, Melissa, Riley) seems even more corrupt and lewd beyond their glamourous surface ... Changing this would be a lot of work and would result in a completely different game / world. So better stick to your original concept (vision) of the game world and don't change things.

I played some more variations of events. At the moment the mc is mostly watching others having sex or is fantasizing. Sexual encounters with the mc usually end with either a premature ejaculation or the event is interrupted by 3rd party ...
Examples :
- Abella offers sex at the busstop but mc blows his load before they even start ...
- Then Casey blackmails mc and if mc plays along she offers to extend their play over the whole night but Ava and Manuel come home and the session is canceled
- Next day mc can have some fun with Candy in the shop but then leaves due to other people .
- In the hostel Kagney offers sex but again mc blows his load before they even start ...
- If mc decides to join the petplay in the club, the dom/sub pair vanishes before they really do something with mc ...
This is a long number of events which tease the player but don't deliver ... it is ok to use such events, but I would not overdo it unless the teasing is a main theme (e.g. for a sub mc in chastity). Most of this teasing events were encountered with a Dom mc with a huge dick, so it felt unexpected.
The teasing would be less a problem if there were follow-up events (in the content to come) where mc can finally perform.

Edit : mc's sexual performance in the events mentioned above is in contradiction with his good performance when having sex with the prostitute later.

In general there should be some mechanism in the game to overcome the premature ejaculation by training. Unless a new stat for sexual experience is introduced, available stats like dominance, confidence and cock size could affect the mc's performance. The mc usually gets a lot of stress in sexual situations and lots of stress can reduce sexual arousal and performance up to a point where dicks stay soft and cunts stay dry.

For a female mc Casey's quest cannot be tested since Saturday evening at home is beyond end-of-content.

Probably been the hardest part to write. I men the MC can now have sex Day 1 after having no confidence with women. A Male MC can have four sexual encounters by the end of Day 2. Justifying that has been hard.
