True and honestly its a solid foundation, but my guess is their excitement for the game dwindled as bugs and development problems occurred. I'm not a coder but I could tell things were not working correctly. It would be awesome if an experienced developer offered to help them fix what's broke and get it back on track!

Yeah the early stages of this game were messy but the whole concept of the game was awesome.
I have never seen it done like this before. I still come back to check on it from time to time.

I've really been enjoying this game (despite it being abandoned). However, whenever there is a fight scene it doesn't allow me to click any of the actions! No matter where I click nothing happens but options in the top bar still work so I have to reload a save and avoid all the fights. Does anyone know if I'm doing anything wrong and how I can solve this?

There may be a few fights where you're destined to lose (I can't remember) but as far as I remember it with enough training you could win any fight.
I don't think what's happening to you is supposed to happen.
