Interesting. Does it work for Android packages? Because shavlego10 was having problems with that version in particular. The textbox for Windows, Linux and Mac is located inside the GUI folder, but the android version has its own textbox inside the PHONE folder. That's what I had to modify and repackage. This is the file I use, attached at the bottom...
Anytime a game does not have a slider for text box opacity or a clicker to remove the text box I just drop this file into the game folder and no more text box. Thus far it has worked flawlessly on all basic text boxes and even some of the more fancy versions. However, some text box formats are their own image and do not respond to this file. Didn't need it for the Escort and Real Dreams! Best part is that in the few situations where it hasn't worked due to a more complex text box format, all I had to do was go back into the game folder and delete the y_outline.rpy and the y_outline.rpyc the game creates when started up with this file installed. Deleting those two files is all I have to do for the one or two cases out of a hundred or more attempts that didn't work out. It's safe, it works with the majority of Ren'Py titles and...
It is not my creation so I have no clue as to any cross platform performance possibilities, humble apologies. The file was a gift from a friend but I don't remember the exact source. I am an avid AVN gamer and do a lot of play testing as well. The code, however, is a mysterious, alien language for me... especially those crazy .rpyc files! HahahaInteresting. Hey Doc, I wish you the best with your new game, and I think your idea of connecting them sounds awesome.Well, the second option seems to be the very clear winner, both here and on SubscribeStar. Go figure... I asked the fanbase of a game about incest between siblings what should I do next and turns out everyone wants more of that. Specially when the first was a more "compact" experience.
On the other hand, the argument about having two full games released in a rather short amount of time really resonated with me, so I came to this final conclusion:
"5 easy steps for successful bimbo parenting" will act as a prologue to "My overfriendly bimbo step-sister".
I reworked both stories a little and now everything connects. In fact, I like the scripts much more now and I really think it's going to work.
As a side note, after going through 4 different full makeovers, Dee, the character who puts the "bimbo" in "Bimbo parenting", is finally ready. I wasn't fully sure with the last version but now I'm starting to feel the kind of things I felt when Jen was ready to start working full time on The Escort.
Sneak peek incoming...

I may give her a little touch here and there as I go, but that's pretty much what she's going to look like in the final game.
Hope you like her...
Hi! I truly appreciate your opinion. Everything counts, really. Unfortunately, I do have to tell you that even if I tweak Dee to be a little more thin on the waist or have a slightly more pointed chin, that massive butt is staying. Mostly because if I have to choose, my own preferences gravitate more towards "extreme" proportions. And I quote "extreme", because my characters are nothing compared to more exaggerated models I see out there. To me, Dee has sort of a really emphasised hourglass figure, but I wouldn't call her fat by any means. But of course, all tastes are different.Hey Doc, I wish you the best with your new game, and I think your idea of connecting them sounds awesome.
Since you asked, I find the new model a bit out of bounds and disjointed with the likes of the Escort and certainly Real Dreams. The face is too round, which alludes to a BBW character (not really my cup of tea), the teeth seems to be extruding giving a bunny tooth smirk and the ass is just obese, definitely nowhere near the Escort's mom (fantastic body) or Jen (young, plumpy but not fat).
She does kind of look like the aunt, but I understand this is a new game in a new universe and I will wait to see your script writing to pass any judgement as the story makes the game as well, just like the Escort.
Of course, this is your game, and I wish you all the best, but considering you wanted feedback, for me, don't make them fat, long legs and lithe sexy bodies are always better for the majority of players.
She looks amazing how she looks currently, and I'm sure you'll only make her look better in the finish up. Keep it up man, it's looking good. Can't wait for the release.Hi! Why don't we ask, he usually replies. drfronkonstinmd , how are you doing bud, any news on the games you are involved? Real Dreams was nice, anything going on there?I wonder how Real Dreams is progressing, lets hope Doc is doing alright.
Thanks Doc for the reply.Hey! I'm sorry I've been a little absent lately.
Just to clarify again, Real Dreams is not mine. I just got it back in production and I haven't released anything yet. In fact, I'm going to need help with it if I'm ever to have some kind of real progress.
About my next project, it's curious how different this feels. Back when I was starting with The Escort, I didn't have any kind of schedule. I could spend literal months tweaking characters, rendering tests and making sure I was 100% ok with how it was turning out before even starting with the story itself. Now it's not like I have a huge following demanding constant updates, but I'm fully aware that there's a number of people (some of them actively paying every month) to support my projects and that puts a little extra pressure on how I normally do things.
That being said, everyone's being super patient and most of the questions about future releases are more out of pure curiosity and genuine interest than actual demands, which I'm really thankful for.
So... After trying with a few different models and variations, I finally have characters I'm truly happy with. Right now I've got the first 30 images ready, which I had to redo with the last versions of the two main protagonists and I even released a quick update featuring both of them to my SubscribeStar page. From now on, the plan is the same as other projects. Every night, I'll spend a few hours working on the next scene and rendering all the images until I have something that's long (and coherent) enough to be released as a first proof of concept. Until then, I'll try to keep you posted on the latest news.
why dont you try/search compressed version?drfronkonstinmd great work bruv but could you make a webp version please?
it is webp processed (otherwise wouldnt be compressed as it was) regardless of "official" extension those images might/might not have.I did but your compressed version isn't webp which is what I requested the dev consider making.
