I normally don't chime in to tear devs down (Because they should all deserve our support to help push them to another level or to steer them in the right direction) but @sarge87 said it best that Arrota is a bottom tier dev consistently missing deadlines and destroying any trust he has with his patrons let alone any trust with F95. Apart from creating his trailer for his re-coded game, there's been almost no contact between him and his patrons. That astounds me and I'm still amazed that (At the time of writing) he still has close to 150 patrons considering the distrust he has. He has to deliver and deliver quality to rebuild the trust back.dude there is a big difference between a long hiatus and many aorrta doest this all the time and is untrustworthy if i say he is dead that means dead for us..
if you cant handle a pun then ignore it
fixed. in the future use the report function on the OPCould some please re-up or fix the MAC links for this game? None are working. Devs, moderators can anyone help?
no idea but people can be dumb sometimesI often find myself thinking along the lines something liken to a bait and switch. He releases some killer initial work, garners support, then you are left with the truth.. be nice to think otherwise
anyway, how is he still getting 300/month? people forget about all their $1 investments?
His last Patreon update was October 28th. Just checked and he still gets roughly $350 USD gross per month from 140 patrons (Unless he was a decent dev and changed that to per creation but unlikely. Take home excluding taxes if he's decent enough to follow the law would be less).just curious if there's any news about that promised 2 months or sth ago update. Is Aorrta dead?
p.s. Yeah I've already read the last 3 pages and know that nothing's changed since then but lol it's been 3 months already and no news at all. What scammy Aorrta's been doing all this time?
Nowhere near where it should be with a file of the size that they have. I made a post about it earlier on where most of it is their image compression leaving their HD/4k pictures uncompressed/not in webp but they are decent renders (Not sure on their set up/their team's set up. Long story short I'm estimating around 1.8gbs worth of uncompressed images/animations).I am just curious how much content is in the game for a such uncompressed file size.
Considering the most of the team have full time jobs so that they don't dedicate all their time to this, it's understandable but also can't really give a fair comment whether it's their design style or just a lack of time.
Been such a long time since I've looked into this. Fortunately I didn't delete their zip file. Ok so they use a mix of both jpeg and png with approx 1.3gigs (This is their episode 2 images folder less sounds and videos which were inside) of mixed HD & 4K jepgs purely for episode 2. Each image is roughly 1 - 3mbs each and there's a number of them. Then they have a separate images folder (I think it's for episode 1 of around 0.5gigs) so call it 1.8 gigs of images or thereabouts.
Realistically, they need to have a second thought around compression if they're sending out roughly 1.8 gigs of images. Just depends if they ever get around to updating their patrons and release their reloaded game before other games finish up. Based on their past release schedules, there's an argument that some devs could potentially finally finish their sagas before Aorrta release their first chapter of their reloaded game. It's such a shame to make that kind of comment but devs actually have finished games.
