I agree that it is a bad economic strategy. but turns out most humans are really bad at economics.
Luckily this dev is perfectly honest and upfront about what is in the game. has no NTR, and warns you about the more icky parts explicitly ahead of time so people can be aware before they play.

don't think phoenix's are known shape shifters and they don't belong to the mammal species category which makes cross breeding impossible or close to, so no phoenix option.
its was said early on dragon or something else which i don't remember are most likely (ifirit i believe).
With dragon being mentioned more often so im leaning that way, a personal 3rd speculation i have is some divine being impregnating his mother.
Eh, considering how he looks like when he really uses his powers, i would rather bet on either Ifrit or straight up fire elemental.

at the start of the game he note most half dragon had scale, and he not.
an archon as father will be cool. the fact he can use the arcane without nerve degeneration point to something very powerful.

yeah the scale thing was mentioned, he could've mutated or the elementlist skin thing could represent it ,it does have a scalely texture to it.
the demi-god angle kinda fits.
anyway when TFS reaches the point we'll know , im sure that the MC's heritage is part off the story in some way.

most off the time dragon do fit the reptilian category, on rare occasion a universe puts them in the mamel one, i've never seen that happen with phoenix's though

He's not the son of a dragon. That was the title the game I used when it was initially made, but I not only changed the title, but also the MC origin before the first release. I won't say what specie is his father, I will just says that the MC do not only have a Flame, he also has a Spark...

Well, since you brought me back into this when I have purposefully not responded to anything on this subject since my post you're referencing here ...
I'm glad you have got so much enjoyment out of the exaggerated numbers in my post, although I still feel the spirit of the post is accurate, even if the definition of pretty much every tag on this site seems to be in the eye of the beholder (as this nonsense demonstrates).
