Interesting. I don't claim to be an expert on ancient Egypt, but it appears from those 2 pics women had bush (pubic hair) & the men were shaved?View attachment 2517589

There are stories about ancient Egyptians and Romans shaving their pubes, even plucking them. However, due to the subject and how far we're talking about, there's no clear proof either way. The pictures above do seem to indicate no bush in that area though, so I'm quite inclined to believe it was a thing since at least back then. Nobody seem to be certain, if it is indeed correct, whether it was for health reasons (lice?) or beauty however.
It would be helpful to know the reasons. Health problems?
W/o modern things: *INTERNET*, widespread porn, widespread photos & publishing, etc W/o all those modern things, shaving down there would be less popular. (& less well known)
Pretty sure Egyptians didn't have any of those things, but they DID have cast system, many only certain people?
Also, not very clear exactly what they're doing. Circumcision, & various ornamentation was/were also practiced back then. Sexual ritual? Probably need an Egyptian expert to explain all the "bones?"
