Since the game is in public release phase will ask ya a question Vanderer about the things discussed in U23. MC was kind of concerned that he'll kinda outlive everyone, it seemed to be weighing on him more than the initial impression. So kinda curious if this will be touched upon in the future plot of the story? Feel like something might happen before the story concludes which allows the life span of harem members to increase, but yea just a speculation. But overall this chapter was a big one, some important info revealed, definitely interesting what happens beyond this.

This update was really sweet, i really love how maria is growing so much between the updates, also i really love all the new information about the mc, in my opinion, the only sad moment on this update is, at the end of the update .

Got it, appreciate the information it's been an interesting blend of chapters some combat and then terrific lore afterwards. So yea liking it indeed, also feel like another battle/fight might be drawing close to MC and his team, will be fun certainly.

Vanderer Considering how much your game takes inspiration from D&D, i'm kind of surprised that MC is of Djinni blood, considering in D&D settings Djinni are genies tied to air elemental plane, where as the ones tied to fire would be efreeti/ifrit. Also interesting little factoid is that genie is actually just anglicized version of the word djinn, or jinn as it is originally written, djinn being the romanized version of the word.

Considering how much your game takes inspiration from D&D,

Vander has said that the story is based loosely on his own homebrew setting, which drew several elements from Pathfinder's Golarion as well, including sulis. This means that it's not limited by the single-concept planar beings from the standard D&D planes/creature types, like an air-only djinn or a fire-only efreet.

Fire dragon blood would have been way more cooler than djinni... :shrug:

This was an early iteration of the concept (which can be seen in the game's Renpy save folder name), but things changed since then. For instance, that would restrict the MC's power to just a fire affinity, but both the MC and Athagan have talked about the MC's "Spark" and his lightning affinity, which a fire dragon bloodline would not have caused.

One of my favorite games, however the update was just ok for me. There are so many other things in the story that I am more interested in.... Like going after the bounty on the Princess, clearing the Mine, adding Kes to the harem, getting more info on the Curse.

There though she was definitely just contemplating what chocolate starfish tastes like. Probably also wondering if she should take advantage of that fact that she in fact is a member of her own house whom MC is the breeder of.

To be fair, MC playing a "submissive" role is just due to royal vs noble ranking. He did deny her already when first asked to marry matriliniearly.
Also growing some decades into the role of queen especially after her becoming the sole ruler and revenge against the black hand pretty much forced her play the role of a strong figure. You can't surmise sexual preference based on the interactions so far. There are cracks in the queen's mask already showing her being insecure especially concering her daughters or choice that bite her back after a certain time (looking at Eloise).
