Nope, that's because she's married, period. Ishtar "portfolio", so to speak, also include marriage, and divorces aren't a thing except in extreme circumstances. And getting gelded after being captured because you were weak after decimating a whole army of demons that tried to invade the mortal plane is not one of those circumstances.

And Liliana genuinely love her husband to bits. And he love her, too. Would she have wished a few more children? Absolutely. Would she leave or cheat on her husband to do so? Absolutely not. Her duty to her husband is sacred to her, and again, she loves him.

Trying to please people who did nothing but shit on my work and make demands is what killed my motivation in the first place.

That's your problem. Don't try to satisfy those guys, do what you want to do. If you start doing things that you're not into, you're gonna love it, and that's not good for motivation. The story of TFS is not everyone c-up of tea, but that's the story I wanted to tell, and wanted to play as a player.

And ignore the haters. Not simple, I know, but that's the only way. Keep the constructive criticism in mind, sure, it's important. The rest, just ignore. Especially the ultra orthodox harem brigade...

Now, if you promised something at the start of your game and don't follow through, that's different. I think it's important to respect those promises, because it's wrong to entice players with false promises. But you will always have some people bitching.

Also yeah i'm beginning to get that. The point about ignoring the peanut galleryt that is .. To be frank my game was going to have some optional sharing scenes for the harem. It wasn't as monogamy focused as yours is. So that ended up riling up the harem purists crowd. Who's experience of the word harem derives ENTIRELY from anime lol. To me that's just an excuse to not compare themselves to other men in the setting. It's a form of insecurity. And to put it in the crudest possible terms I think that sharing a ho with your bro in complete confidence that she aint gonna leave you for them IS one of the most self confident and masculine affirming things a guy can do.

To be fair, it has less to do with the "harem crowd" as you put it that don't care for the MC sharing his love interests than it does with the majority of any crowd. Plus a harem isn't monogamy, it would be a form of polygamy called polygyny, even more so if they get married where it's one man and multiple wives where the MC is centered and the women may or may not dabble with each other. A lot of the harem crowd are more into closed poly relationships. The harems derived from anime are usually not "harem" as you'd called it since a majority of the Japanese "harem" trope it's mostly just one male MC and multiple love interests vying to be the MC's lover, but primarily focuses on one love interest and the MC doesn't accept multiple love interests as lovers.

As for you liking sharing, that's cool and your thing. A person who doesn't want to share their lover doesn't make one insecure, not confident, etc. It's more you either like sharing your lover or you don't.

Okay sorry this is gonna wreck last like few pages of convo. But I'm deleting all my previous posts in this topic and stepping away from this topic. Because certain people are poking at my grief and the harassment I received recently from people on this site. And repeatedly trying to pull me into offtopic arguments. And the gamedev doesn't deserve to have them or me shit on their lawn. If they have any decency they will do the same.
