So can your character get pregnant through interaction in the game? Also I tried commands and they just didn't work at all.

Something that I feel could be good would be a upskirt standing picture. (if wearing skirt or dress) Something else I want to see is if the desire is saying the panties are wet I would like to see it on the picture too. Maybe even some trailing down the leg a short distance.
Upskirt would be nice. And adding the player being wet is something I want to do. I am trying to represent the players state on the paperdoll as much as I can.

A good thing to add to this might be something to let you know when an action has increased or decreased a stat. I had to hack it to get confidence over 20. I even modified the text at the top left to show me what my 'courage' was so I could learn what actions had what consequence.
Stat change indicators is something I will work on very soon and will hopefully be in the next main release. Since I don't want to clutter the hud so much with numbers, some indication of a positive or negative change is really needed.

Please add a footjob scene at the pub perverts.
Not sure if it will be in the pub, but foot stuff will be making it's way in.

Yes you can. All sex interactions currently in the game can result in pregnancy. And in the latest version, no need to use commands. I added a cheat menu where, among other things, you can impregnate yourself.

Yeah, it takes a while to start showing, and I'm not sure if there's much text related to it. The mouseover text is about all I've seen so far. Once your baby comes to term, Sammy goes to the hospital to deliver it, then she's in a bad mood for a bit.

Ya know, since Sammy has some kind of custom body, you could do things like a fertility toggle or pregnancy acceleration completely within the story. Like one of the questions during the prologue could be to to disable pregnancy content.

And you could get away with doing a female start without a ton of rewriting. Following your Altered Carbon reference, being put into a new body is a rough experience, even when the sex matches your old body. After 6 months in a coma, some fuzzy memories, and a body with different proportions, a F->F Sammy is going to have almost as hard of a time waking up as a M->F Sammy. Some things would obviously be smoother for her, but you don't seem to be mentioning the gender dysphoria much at all. So it'd be easy enough to gloss over.

Not sure if this is the result of using the cheat or not, but I only used the cheat for fitness and confidence a little bit. Hadn't done anything else at all.

For some reason, sammy gains weight whenever I work at the pub. Is that intended?

Because it's annoying as fuck, seeing as I sacrifice 4-5 hours every day trying to stay fit. More on weekends.

yea I was doing the same and it took weeks to get her to a little pudgy status. The new cheat option helped a lot. All that grind and it said I was only 50% fit in cheat menu and 0% confident. The game is still very early in it's development but I am more encouraged by this devs responsiveness to bugs and recommendations than many other devs out there. I would recommend using the new cheat menu until a wt and/or a lot of the bugs are worked out in the mean time.

I have no idea how to activate the cheat menu- And tbh, I don't really want to cheat.

I will ask you though- what's the highest level fitness? At this point I'm at "generally trim"

the cheat was added in most recent version. It's in the top right corner.

Barrel belly 1-19
Muffin Top 20-30
bit of pudge 40-59
generally trim 60-79
fit and trim. 80-100

As I said, I spent weeks with running 4-5 hrs per day and when I checked the cheat, I was at 50, so take that for what its worth.

I get not wanting to cheat, I don't usually either unless the grind is deep. And the grind is deep in this one. As I mentioned, it's still really early in the development from what I can tell and working out in this game currently is more aligned with reality (i.e. you have to work really, really hard to get in and stay in shape). I am also not convinced that doing anything other than manually running improves your fitness, but I haven't tried to confirm that yet. I.e. I do not think hanging flyers, walking, sex, waitressing and automatically attending gym class improve fitness as of yet...so it's kind of needed to cheat this early on imo.

It's also a little weird that mc only drinks beer and needs a lot of it to get drunk...seeing as beer is pretty damn fatty, it's weird to me to drink it all the time and try and get fit at the same time. Liquer will probably be added at some point I'm sure, but it doesn't look like beer makes you fat in this version, but I'm not sure about that either.

Hope that helps.

A fertility toggle or pregnancy acceleration system is something I plan and is easy to add in a lore friendly way. Removing pregnancy, while it can be added in a lore friendly way, it's consequences not so much. The stat balance have in mind things like pregnancy.

Mood or money is the real motivator. Need money so work at the cost of mood. Alcohol is the best mood boost but you run the risk of triggering drunk events. Drunk events run the risk of getting you pregnant which will tank your fitness and sometimes mood, or other events that will tank your mood and confidence.

Toggling off pregnancy means I will need to balance around it which is something I don't really want to do. So I will either just add a cheat option, or add it in a lore friendly way that does upset the balance but ignore that fact. Just consider it easy mode or something.

With the male start, I started it as you are waking up because I didn't want the male to be characterised. Better for the story if he's a blank slate. The gender swap also lends it's self well to a heavy tutorial.

With the female start though I want to have some story of how she "died". Her and Emile fleeing to Blaston and the troubles they encounter on their way. And although it will always result in your death, how you died will be dependant on the story.

So the male start is more of a new player guide start while the female start is much more backstory heavy.

When she gets impregnated can you add morning sickness and like when she gets super drunk and she pukes?
Morning sickness is already added. After about a week or two, every now and then Sammy will wake in the morning and run to the toilet and puke. It's intended as an early warning system that you are pregnant.

Not sure if this is the result of using the cheat or not, but I only used the cheat for fitness and confidence a little bit. Hadn't done anything else at all.
It's because of the debug mode yeah, I need to remove that button. The button doesn't show up with cheats disabled.

For some reason, sammy gains weight whenever I work at the pub. Is that intended?

Not intended. I have had other reports of this and looking into why it happens.

Highest level is between 80-100, or "You have a trim and fit body". But the game is balanced around most stats being around the middle. The higher your stats are, the harder it is to gain and easier to lose. The lower they are the easier it is to gain and harder to lose. It is done this way because I don't intend for players to grind for stats and instead gain them in natural ways though events.

Most events also only look for level 20 for low, 40 for middle and 60 for high for the int, conf and fitness stats and will continue that way with future events. I don't want to have the need to grind in the game unless you have just given birth or some other event tanked your stats.

Also it isn't clear in game right now since the content isn't in. But things like running in the park is only really intended for low level gains. Once you reach a higher level of fitness, you will need to join the gym to make gains. Int will follow a similar route. Attending class is good for low level gains but you will need to join extra curricular clubs for the high level gains.

Seen a couple of comments that the grind is deep. Is it really? While yes its hard to reach 100 in all stats and almost impossible to maintain it, it also isn't needed since as I mentioned above, most triggers for events are much closer to 40. High level triggers (70-80) will only be used in extreme cases like joining a volleyball competition or some high level dance stuff.

Walking, working and such do not effect fitness but it's a good idea. I will look into making it do so to some level. Gym class does effect it the same way running and dancing does (runs the same calculations).

Stronger spirits are already added, I just haven't made use of them yet. I have planned 2 other jobs that will be similar to the pub, with the pub being the middle ground of the three. Much stronger stuff will be used for the more extreme job (gambling club). Beer right now was mostly used to test the balance of alcohol gain, hangovers and getting blackout.

Also beer doesn't make you fat, and I am not sure I will make it do so. But I am open to being convinced otherwise since I suppose it could be good for balance. Beer gives good mood with low drunk levels making it safer than spirits, but at the cost of getting fat.

Adding the pill for zero to almost none chance to get pregnant would be a logical and lore friendly option. Yes, the game might not be 100% accurate but from what i can see you are trying to give a realistic experience so that's how i would roll if i were you.

Mood or money is the real motivator. Need money so work at the cost of mood. Alcohol is the best mood boost but you run the risk of triggering drunk events. It's a good idea that alcohol affects the player and may let her do things she wouldn't do while she's sober. On the other hand... i'm no expert in this but isn't there a risk for the baby if you get pregnant while one or both parents are under the influence of alcohol or is that only later when the baby is growing?

As i mentioned in my first quote adding the pill or some sort of fertility bonus should do the trick without adding additional cheats. Some sort of detailed status screen (status of body in general, mental state, vagina state, womb state, anus state, etc) would be nice to have by using your cellphone. Yes it doesn't make sense at all but that's the point of games. You can bend the rules a little if it's to your liking. :D

If you have played Violated Heroine you surely know what i mean with a detailed status screen.

Yes, don't put too much effort into the male part. It's just the introduction to a new life as the opposite gender and it would be questionable what benefit the game gets if you make both the male and female part equal in size/content.

With the female start though I want to have some story of how she "died". Her and Emile fleeing to Blaston and the troubles they encounter on their way. And although it will always result in your death, how you died will be dependant on the story.
As i said, you should keep a balance here. Giving us some background information is nice and good (a good storywriter knows the moment when he/she has to act so the audience is interested to pay attention) but don't make it too big.

ok no worries, good to know.

I'm fairly certain it's a result of you still working out the bugs and not very many events being implemented into the game yet..because you know, it's still very early.

I hope you don't take my comments to be negative, because I really do like what this is so far, I'm just trying to be up front about things that either could be improved or that people should be aware of.

But to answer, yes, the game is most definately a grind in its current state. It was nearly impossible to get past pudgy state and the inability to increase confidence prior to 2.11 was impossible to get anywhere. I haven't delved too deep into confidence increases in .11 but so far it still seems a little tough to increase.

Thanks again for being so quick about things. Overall, this game looks pretty exciting.

[*snip*]

I think this is a good idea, but I also think it breaks from the usual life-sim conventions and that might be throwing people a little. I know I'm pretty accustomed to needing to grind out things like attractiveness in other games because events seem to be tied to the exact value rather than a threshold (on top of just wanting to look as nice as possible for RP purposes). The requirements not being too high for most activities, and being able to push it right up past the usual "high" threshold for some extra-specialist stuff or just to have a buffer should be nice though, depending on the decay rate.

I'd potentially suggest throwing in a line about "nobody's expecting to see supermodels these days" or similar, as an allusion to not needing to push stats way up to maximum, but I don't know if that's too subtle a hint, and I'm not sure people will extrapolate that into other stats too.

Seen a couple of comments that the grind is deep. Is it really? While yes its hard to reach 100 in all stats and almost impossible to maintain it, it also isn't needed since as I mentioned above, most triggers for events are much closer to 40.
I found that, with most of my grinding in the park, I was able to get up to "muffin top" just before school started. Depending on how the rest of the content is paced and if other things are going to push it up to a minimum level, I feel like that should be a decent pace for the whole game, if a little slow, depending on how much pressure there is pushing up from other sources and what missions you have early on.

That said, I did kinda rush into the first mission, and was somewhat railroaded on the "turn around" path, seeing as I hadn't ground fitness or gotten new clothes (.'. ground cash). It also didn't dawn on me that I'd missed a possible outcome until I thought back and noted the selection screen with only one option. I know success isn't expected (in-game), but with the amount of content behind that decision, I'd suggest some sort of modification to the mission. There do seem to be a few opportunities to dust off early, although I don't know if that's supposed to be a subtle indicator that you don't have enough stats. Personal preference again, but I tend to like seeing the unavailable options, sometimes with a hint as to what unlocks or enables them, most of the time - saves having to rely too much on an external walkthrough or trudge through events hunting outcomes. This might also be useful for people not realising they don't need to grind all stats to max?

Also, this is probably planned, but clothes-wise, I'd suggest including a longer T-shirt or Hoodie or something so Sammy's not so embarassed out on her runs, to cap off the mountain of suggestions, lol.
